Okay, so I've read about this film online in several places, but I still don't know a lot of the deeper details. I will say that I'm already aware that this movie has at least a few pretty vulgar bits, but there can't be too many, right? The three main characters are childish and naive for their age, and they hardly curse, don't drink, don't do drugs, or any of the other usual immoral things portrayed in R-rated movies, and if it revolves around them, I would find it very hard to believe that there is a ton of vulgarity throughout the film, even if some sources imply that. So could anyone who's actually seen this independent film tell me where most of the raunchy content comes from? On top of that, which characters supply the majority of the profanity? I've actually seen some small clips of this movie, and even most of the secondary characters don't seem to do it, so who's it from? I'm pretty sure there's a young boy who cusses a lot, but is he the only one, or are there more? Despite wanting to know where most of the vulgarity comes from in this movie, I would also very much appreciate for anyone to keep their posts clean. I want this to be a mature discussion if people are going to respond. I'm just hoping that there are some people who can answer these questions, which I would appreciate very much. Thank you.

La la la la la. It goes around the world, just la la la la la. It's all around the world, just la la la la la. And everybody's singing...

[up] Mystery Team, not Mystery Men.

And Mystery Team is fairly vulgar. Most of that stuff was confined to scenes set in a strip club in the middle of the movie.

My own damn mistake Sorry. And yeah from what I've heard yeah Mystery Team is pretty vulgar. I'm still trying to find it in Australia to see it.

Ah yes, the Gentlemen's Club. I know what happens in there. Boy, does that have some nasty bits in it. What I was wondering though was if there are any particular points in the movie besides that that are particularly crude otherwise. Also, as mentioned in my first post, I've also read about there being a fair amount of profanity. Which characters are the main contributors to that, because the three main boys are strongly against it, and in the few clips that I've seen, most of the other characters seem fine too. Anyways, I appreciate the feedback so far, and if anyone knows these details, please let me know. Thank you.

Well, it looks like I've been able to answer my own questions. I recently found the entire script for the film on a website, and found out for myself. So yeah, there don't seem to be many particularly crude parts other than The Gentlemen's Club sequence, but there is definitely a lot of adult content mixed in that isn't in any way, suitable for everyone. As for the profanity, the worst offenders seem to be Eric, Leroy, Ricky Appleman, and Dougie and his pal (especially his pal). It's not surprising that any of them are like that (except Eric who's only 8 or so, but it is his defining characteristic), but they're all pretty over the top at the same time, in the sense that they do it constantly whenever they speak. Then again, after reading what I have about the movie, I guess they needed to have some characters who were the polar opposite of the Mystery Team in these regards to make a movie that deserved its R rating, but could still have characters like Jason, Duncan and Charlie in the main roles. I've only seen clips, but I can definitely say this: it makes for a pretty unique type of movie, which is refreshing in a sense, but at the same time, it rotates a little too much between completely different brands of humor, which probably makes watching the entire movie feel a little strange. At least that's how it comes across to me. Still, from what I've seen, it looks like a pretty good indie film!
