They don't really look like minors either
I disagree with your interpretation of the trope. There's nothing in the description about it having to be something the kids are watching on TV.
If I remember correctly, what they're watching in the picture is a kaiju vomiting skeletons after eating a bunch of people and digesting them.
Admittedly, it'd be nice if you could see that, but you can at least tell from the look on the girl's face that she's looking at something unpleasant. Keep Until Better Suggested.

That's still not this trope. It's a horrific thing to anyone of any age.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Quoting from the description "Maybe the kid accidentally opens the parents' bedroom door while they're getting it on. Maybe the kid has a parent who dies violently before their eyes. "
Those things are horrific to someone of any age too. The trope is just about wanting to shield children from certain things - it's not about what things are actually harmful.

Well I have such suggestions. MPAA poster 1◊, and MPAA poster 2◊. I think the first one could work by cropping to the middle.
EDIT: This is a larger version of the first poster.◊

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. This has nothing at all to do with movie ratings or with shows containing content that his "harmful to minors".
This is about events in-story when children encounter things that are harmful to minors.
Well 1) the picture should reflect that; right now there is no context, and b) the examples and wicks don't seem to reflect that, but that's for TRS.

Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
I don't think being in some kind of war zone or disaster is what this trope is about. Whatever the children's eyes are being shielded from, it's likely not something in a show.
