Digimon Xros Wars II

So based on what we know about the old leaders returning and what digimon they have I wonder when Takato was pulled from. It can't be after Tamers as according to canon the Tamers could never see their partners again.

It was right after the D-reaper was defeated, just before the digimon got sent back to the digital world. You know, during that one scene he was missing. Poor kid can't get a break.

That would probably be the best time. I'm guessing Taichi is post Our war game, and Masaru is post series as well (being that Savers is one of the few series where at least one character stays with his partner).

Hope we have good luck with this thread.

What about Daisuke and Masaru???

As the partners didn't go away at the end of 02, I suppose Daisuke was pulled post-series as well; though it would kind of screw Ken over.

What about Takuya, and the apparently separate Susanoomon?

Taiki and Yuu are already going to be overshadowed by Tagiru and the 5 previous leaders/goggleheads. We do not need Ryo showing up and overshadowing them/everyone.

Of course, it would make sense, Since Ryo is a time and dimension traveller.

Actually I hold that Digimon can't have time/dimensional traveling happening without Ryo and his partner being involved somehow.

... Millenniumon is somehow the Big Bad...I know! In an alter timeline Ryo got hit with the dark spore instead of Ken. Now he and Millenniumon are out to take over the digimon multiverse.

This week's episode was uninteresting.

Jokermon uses a bunch of Bakomon to kidnap kids to feed to Sefirotmon (who is pretending to be a ride) so the big guy can feed off their laughter or something; our heroes put an end to it and the main Bakomon learns something. Tagiru gets both Sefirotmon and Jokermon; Joke Xros shows that cardboard weaponry sucks.

The preview, you ask?

PLOT STARTS NEXT WEEK, FOLKS! One of those giant face things from the op shows up, as Do the MOTHERFUCKING PAST LEADERS HOLY SHIT FINALLY!

It should have happened at least 10 eps ago. End of discussion.

Glad to finally see the old schoolers though. We've been waiting.

It definitely should have happened a while ago, but the main thing for me is that IT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING AT ALL. Just seeing Tai again, animated, talking, it just makes me feel like a child again. And that's not even getting into the other leads. IF Young Hunters can pull this off well, I might be able to forgive it. Not entirely, but still.

Evidently though, somebody forgot to check War Greymon's scale xD Last I checked, Tai could only just about piggyback on him...

Whilst I'm now hopeful though that the series may get something done, unless we get a second season in the vein of the Death Generals arc, this is probably going to be a rather rushed sendoff...

Oh, so it's safe for me to skin over the episodes I ignored and catch up now? :)

I still have hope.

Many shows have been episodic Monsterof The Week all the way up until a more structured finale, and then gets some kind of continuation. for some shows, that actually becomes a defining trait. I hope that this big stuff will do the same with Time Hunters and lead to one final great moment (be it a film, an OVA, or another add-on for the Anime.) where.... I'd actually be okay with Digimon going away again for a while afterward.

Someone on a certain board said this about Time Hunters:

The analogy works, It got less episodes than the show that precedded it, meaning everything was more rough, which is common with DLC as opposed to full games. Many people don't hold it against DLC if it's not as detailed as the main game usually, too.

I admit, seeing them in that preview was great. It feels like we've been waiting an eternity for this moment. Now if only I could actually watch the ep.

What's up with Anidragon? Normally they'd have posted the episode by now, but they only have the preview.

I like the preview, but I'd like to actually see the episode.

I've only seen one part of Xros Wars 2, so tell me how wrong I am.

The Taichi on the boat is really V-Tamer Taichi, that's why he still has his goggles. That's also why he and Agumon are not enthusiastic, because the boat man mixed up their partners. Adventure Taichi and Zeromaru will show up in comic Xros wars under similar circumstances.

I think it has already been confirmed that this is Tai from Adventures on the boat.

I heard the Xros Wars manga just ended. ._.

The manga hasn't ended yet. But it's getting close to the finale.
