Because November 6 was the date for the end of Daylight Saving Time in the USA, there is no good way (other than UTC) to display times in that scenario...
As to the displayed time zone, I'm seeing the posts in the original time (1:41 AM, 1:15 AM).

I am not a mod, and I don't play one on TV.I know what the actual times are supposed to be, but that's not what's being displayed.
Try switching your timezone to America - New York and see what it looks like.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayMy TZ is America/New York... and now I think I see your point...
The first time I looked at the link, the times were 1:41 AM/1:15 AM.
The second time, they were 3:41 AM/3:15 AM.
OK. Something's not right.
ETA: Looks like the edited-by timestamps don't honor the forum timezone setting (they seem to be consistently set to USA Pacific time). This is in addition to whatever the other glitch is above...

I am not a mod, and I don't play one on TV.So does anyone know how the forum software calculate dates?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayTimestamp fixes have been asked for in Query Bugs and Query Wishlist; locking.
The forum timestamps seem to be really messed up, generally appearing 2 or 3 hours off.
For example, take a look at this post and the one that follows.

The correct times are clearly supposed to be 1:41AM EDT, followed by 1:15AM EST. However, for me they now show up as 3:41 and 3:15. What the heck is up with that? There is no timezone in the world where that makes sense. Also the edited by timestamps are all 2 - 3 hours before the displayed posting times.
