Activision versus small French gaming site over Black Ops 2

That is a cue to ask you some extremely clumsy personal questions, which I am too smart to ask you.

And I almost never joke about things I take seriously. If I do, I tend to slather them with smilies. There are no smilies in this post or the one a wee bit above.

I was joking about the Internet being filled with chat-speaking folks who are unaware of how to structure a sentence. 'Twas not meant to offend you at all.

But I still stand by my previous statement about making a single thread for all of this.

No can do. There is an active rule against it. Heck, this thread itself skirts the rule, just from the title onward. There are to be NO complaint threads. Another thread already got locked earlier for being about things in games that piss you off.

One thing to occasionally complain in threads that are about specific games, as it does give a more accurate view of the game, rather than just sunshine and puppies. It's quite another to dump all the complaints into a single thread.

Changed "bullies" to "versus".

If this becomes a reasonable thread discussing the matter, we'll leave it alone. You can hate on Activision all you want somewhere else. If this turns into a complaing/bashing thread it will go somewhere else, after the gasoline/thermite/nuclear thing.

Well, an update. Activision states it doesn't blacklist, but three French sites seem to refute that claim.

I'd believe a statement by activision only if I was ridiculously drunk.

Resolved, but... didn't Game Blog pull the story? What happened to Xboxygen?

Another retailer leaks Black Ops 2.

Looks like an announcement on May 2.

Honestly, this is the worst kept secret... since Epic Mickey 2.

So what is said in those articles?

There's now a video going around showing off a (fake) quadrotor UAV shooting up stuff - apparently, it's gonna be in the next COD game. This also seems to be hinting that it might be in a near-future setting.
