GIS for "the bully" give some good results but none of them are quite what I had in mind. I think the best image would be a bully looking down at you with a caption saying "Give me your lunch money". Anyone know where to find something along those lines?

Whassisface from Calvin And Hobbes immediately comes to mind...Moe, right?

Should this get the same no-image treatmeant as Domestic Abuser, though?

Well, we did that for Domestic Abuser and the tropes are similar.

Just thought we need to decide that first.

I was afraid of the precedent the Domestic Abuser incident might set... This isn't Livejournal, we don't need to start concerning ourselves with "triggering" people. They're just pictures!

And I think (correct me if I'm misled) the effects of bullying are not as profound as domestic abuse. Just relatively. Generally. I think.

But it would be a bummer if we collect images, cast votes, and then find that it's unusable because of this. So, we need to sort that out first. I can't really speak for it—I guess I was involved in mild forms of it as a child, at both ends of the power spectrum, but they're lukewarm examples. Images certainly don't do anything for me. I say it's all right, personally.

Meanwhile, to keep the image hunt alive, I like the Moe fellow.

There's going to be some people in this world with some kind of phobia, fear, or trauma. I know it's sad and unfortunate, but we can't be bending over backwards and walking on eggshells just because of this. If someone's browsing the internet and sees an image that scares them...oh well. They can just hit the back button.

I think that Domestic Abuser, as a trope, is a lot more of a "serious" trope; The Bully is played for comedy a lot more often. It can be played seriously, but a lot of the time it isn't.

How about a wedgie infliction? Cuts back on the more overt physical violence..

That does seem like the best image so far.

I just noticed that it is a bit too large - it must be shrunk a bit.

So, do we go with that?

[up][up][up] That's too small. On my monitor it's tiny and it's really hard to make out without squinting. Can you make it larger? The article is huge. There's no point in having the smallest possible image.

OK. Given the consensus, I went ahead and added the image to The Bully - without the IP tag for now. Caption?

EDIT: Oh, wretched Ninja. Now I will have to fix that again.

I can see the image well, but if someone has a larger version, they can swap it with the current one.
