The second one is my favourite.
The second one is great.
Thirding the second one.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. The two group shots and the current pic are all the same. The individual shots are worse than the group shots.
Rhymes with "Protracted."2nd pic is awesome.
I think the current pic is clearer. The red eyes aren't really important, it still fits this trope if they aren't exactly the same tint.
The current image doesn't taste so much like diabetes. Not an improvement.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.@Troacctid, abk: How is the current any better than the suggested ones? The current image doesn't focus all that much on their faces.
somethingThe eyes are pink in the original image, not red.
You are a blowfish. That's a fair point, but none of the other group shots focus on the eyes either. I guess I'd be okay with one of the close-up images, but out of the group pictures, I think the current is the clearest. And one of the girls has an outfit that doesn't match her eyes, so that tells you that the trope isn't about that.
What about this one from above? It's the bare minimum amount of information you need to show the trope, and it's not going to give anyone diabetes:

I think the second◊ in #1 works as well.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.what makes it any better than the current picture?
Yeah, as far as "eyes match hair", there's still somebody whose eyes don't quite match the hair in that picture.
Anyway, I like the idea of a close-up shot. Helps emphasize the point.

@That Human, the current picture is better than the suggested ones because the suggestions are single faces and the current is a group shot. The group shot is more effective because it has multiple faces.
The two that are group shots are the ones I said were the same as the current, not worse.

Rhymes with "Protracted."Erm, two of the pictures suggested in the OP are group shots, and the first embedded image emphasizes this trope better since it focus more on the characters' faces than the rest of their body. The current pic is more of an overall view of the pictured characters, not really emphasizing on any particular part. I'd rather have an image which focuses on what this trope is about. In this case, the head(s).

somethingLets see more focus on faces? Hmm EDIT: oops a few subs got mixed in there... I can fix that if needed lol (I cant find a good shot from other series where nearly everyone is in the trope like Hidamari Sketch, Nichijou or Madoka Magica so these Precure pics will have to do.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!2nd pic in the OP works fine. As noted, the current image has too much focus on the whole body an not as much on the eyes, as well as the leftmost girl appearing to not fit the trope anyway.
Reaction Image RepositoryI'm seriously surprised that someone is trying to argue that one character in the group picture has pink color #37 for hair but her eyes only have pink color #36...
The difference isn't that big a deal, as it's still implied that the hair and eyes are the same.

Well, there's the fact that the suggested images are all more focused on the face/heads.
Also, if those characters in the page image are whom the link suggests them to be, then they don't actually look like that most of the time. Seriously, see what they normally look like.

something"Well, there's the fact that the suggested images are all more focused on the face/heads."
It's a trope about eye colors matching hair colors. Why exactly shouldn't the images focus on their heads, as such? It's the focal point of the trope.
Moon◊@ post 19 - a lot of those are good. this one◊ was perfect I think. It shows their faces clearly, and it shows that their clothes don't have to match.
That one is going to get the same arguments popping up as the current one since middle (pink hair, purple eyes) and bottom left (brown hair, red eyes) don't show the trope too well.

Picture needed that clearly shows matching eye and hair color.
Well seeing how it was my own image way back when... I hate to post the one.
The Pink haired one her color is off she has Red Eyes.
