Should really have an image: Red Ones Go Faster get usage counts

This is a visual trope, so it would benefit greatly from having a visual. But there isn't one, And That's Terrible.

Ideas?

I found a couple images of red bicycles, and the caption "Wow! look at it go!" came to mind.

Like this one... Or this one...

even older skool
panel 12?

I tried GIS to look for some [[Tabletop Game/Warhammer40000 Orks]] or something, but all I could find was some photos of minis and a demotivator.

Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
[up] I'm sold.
Temptation lies in the forbidden. Some doors should never be re-opened.
[up][up] I'm not sure if that's an example, but it's a great picture.
Rhymes with "Protracted."
Cars work for me.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.
[up][up] Not explicitly stated to be an example from my recollection of either movie, but that doesn't necessarily mean they didn't use the trope.

It's an example: fast things are colored red. A page's example list is often the best place to find ideas for an image.

Iim actually keen on the The Order of the Stick panel mentioned above. It lampshades the trope nicely.

Also, something I hadn't noticed before, but the entire audience in that Cars frame is composed of red or blue spots, and no green ones. This means everyone in the audience is either supporting McQueen or King. Not related to the thread, I just thought it was interesting.

Vote for the Cars picture. I don't even like that movie, but it's a great picture.

Can we avoid racecar pictures? It's a bit cliche. We could grab a still from Speed Racer and it would have the same effect; it's a racecar, so naturally it's fast. Doesn't convey the trope just by the color.

The trope is faster. The red car is in the lead, hence fastest.

Being a cliché has no bearing on image choice, though.

The trope is (partly) that red is visual shorthand for "fast". That's a great example.

(Speed Racer doesn't work at all, the Mach 5 is white.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel.
Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
The Cars pic works just fine. Even if it's not explicit in-universe that Lightning goes faster because he's red, the creators were certainly invoking the trope. +1 vote.

I'm good with Lightning. I wish we could have an Ork image, but I can't find a good one.

Alright, that's enough of a consensus. The Cars pic is up, potholed, and tagged...I put McQueen's Catch Phrase as the caption; if anyone wants to change or cull it, go ahead. Locking up.

You need to Get Known to get one of those.
