It's not outright bad, but...: Rapid Fire Fisticuffs

It's kind of weird. It's even hard to tell it comes from a person (although that might not be excluded from the trope). It's definitely nowhere near bad enough to pull, but I think we can do a lot better, like E. Honda's atttack◊, or Chun-Li's lightning kick◊.

Unfortunately, GIS isn't too helpful with the likely terms.

Oops I didn't mean to upload that one.... I was just attempting to freeze frame various examples I have and that was a frame after the other ones.

And man when its well done you cant get a freeze frame more than one punch at a time >< [1]◊ [2]◊ ...

Chun-li gets my vote (Honda isn't any worse, but when the choice is between him and Chun-li...) Also, I think that specific move is actually pretty well-known.

The other pictures posted all do a good job of showing the trope, but I don't think any of them would scale down as well as OP's suggestions.

I like E. Honda best of these. Chun Li would be my second pick.

I think Chun-Li demonstrates that it's not strictly about actually using your fists. Honda is also very good.

One Piece is too rubbery.

Other examples are just too blurry or unclear to me.

Can someone get the actual in-game shots of Chun-li and E. Honda's attacks?

I'd like something like this, but better quality.

Those tend to not work well in one frame. It's the same problem with some of the pictures Raso tried to post.

I like the E. Honda one. It uses his hands, but not his fists. That shows that it's not just about the fists, but still makes sense with the title.

I cleaned out my imageshack account a while ago of images that I thought were old and useless... (the stupid 500 image limit hurts.... I have almost that many images in image links on the site....) give me a bit to look at my folders, I am pretty sure you got the most illustrative one on the crowner though.

Bumping for votes...E. Honda and Chun-li are the only ones in the green.

This one's ready to call. The new pic's up, potholed, and tagged, and the Image Links page is built. I recycled the old caption, is it good enough or do we want to come up with something else?

I checked the link, and you're right, that caption really doesn't fit as potholed. I removed the whole thing; if someone wants to add something else back later, that's cool. Locking up.
