As an image, I like the Sesame Street better, but as far as representing the trope, the description says this:
"That way the channel-surfers will stop for a second and go "hey— isn't this...?" and by the time they've figured out that it's not, it's too late; you've got 'em."
The current page image probably does a better job of showing that. It looks innocent at first, but after a second you realize what the picture's implying. I guess I'm kind of divided on which one is better.
Neither really works...Happy Tree Friends is something else than this trope and the Sesame Street pic is a parody rather than a straight example.

New theme music also a boxI took out the caption since it wasn't there originally
Happy tree friends isn't this trope? Why not?
But if we're looking for a better picture, something from Uncle Shelby's (Shel Silverstein) ABZ Book maybe? Some pages here. This one could work◊

Perhaps something from Pee-wee Herman's stage show? I'll search when I have more time.

For the sack of the conversation this◊ was the "new" image, since it's been changed back to the "old" one for the time being.
Okay for the love of god folks, images are supposed to link the work they are from, not the work they are parodying. It is crystal clear that is not from Sesame Street. I wish I knew where it was from so I could correct that.
In the end, nothing matters, or mattered. So endulge yourself now, your legacy means nothing when humans are extinct. Can remove the Sesame Street link without being able to correct it.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. What if a parody image isn't from a work at all? If someone on Deviantart or something just photoshopped the eyebrows and stuff on that picture, are we supposed to not link it to anything?
In cases like this we seem to just ignore the actual source, because it's just a few screencaps and some text.

Yes.
(Also, pretty sure that is true, the angry eyebrows / weapons / cigarette look slapped on.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
If you look at the history, it was changed back in October. Personally I liked the old image and I don't see how the new one is necessarily better. Plus there are some quality issues with artifacting.
