So, how do everyone's cats react to catnip?
My dad's cat has no reaction to it but Dusty goes crazy for the stuff. To the point where she knows which drawer I keep it in and meows if I dare to open the drawer for anything.
Stupid doomed timeline...My kitten seems to quite like it but not to that extent. ^_^
My cat loves toys that have catnip in them. His behaviour doesn't really change much, the toy will just be his Favourite Toy Ever for a while

Everybody's all "Jerry's old and feeble" till they see him run down a skyscraper and hijack a helicopter mid-flight.Dusty's going to need to go to catnip rehab.
Stupid doomed timeline...My cat died three days ago (from drowning in the swimming pool, in mysterious circumstances). My family told me just a few minutes ago.
I don't feel like I'm 24. I feel like I'm still a child in some people's eyes.
That is so very terrible? >_<
I am so sorry, I hope you are okay. <_>
What do you mean when you say mysterious, if I may ask?
Thank you. I'm feeling a bit better, I think.
Yeah, his corpse was floating. Glad I didn't watch it. Death by drowning is one of my biggest fears, btw.
By mysterious, it's just that... it seems odd, because the level of the water was fairly low (it's a big swimming pool), and, whenever he got close to the pool, it was often merely to look at it. My family thinks he wanted to drink the water, but that is highly implausible, since he never did that before. My theory is that, due to the ongoing rivalry and fights he had with an older cat from a farm, they had a fight by the pool at night, and, in the ensuing fight, my cat either slipped or rolled towards the pool. However, he often had a good standing and movement control, especially on the side of the grass.
I see. >_<
I am glad you are feeling a little better at least.
I just hope that you are going to be okay, I feel so terribly sorry for you and for your poor cat.

Thank you very much. I think I'll be able to deal with it, especially since he's not the first cat I had, so, I can adjust myself better now than when my old cat died, a year ago.
Still, he was the first cat who would actively sleep close to me either in bed or in the sofa. I even think he helped reduce my stress (and other negative feelings) a bit.

My kitten is the first cat I have had who would do that. My father's cat when I was a small child would do the same though, he almost smothered me many times. I am so glad to here that you should be alright, I do really feel bad for you though. This is just such a sad thing.

Yeah, it's a sad thing, but I like to think he's in a much more peaceful place, somewhere beyond this Universe). Also, glad your kitten does the same thing. It's a good feeling, right?
Indeed it is, even if I go to sleep while she is still in a hyper mind set she is always there when I wake up. ^_^
My cat actively hates the idea of me sleeping.
He always cries and nibbles on my fingers or something trying to keep me awake.
He gets really lonely. He doesn't even like to eat unless someone is sitting with him.
Oh really when?Eddie's much more of a loner, though he does like to be near us when we're eating. But this changes completely at night. If he can't find me or even if he knows where I am but can't get to me, he'll make the worst noise.

Everybody's all "Jerry's old and feeble" till they see him run down a skyscraper and hijack a helicopter mid-flight.I've had to shut Dusty out of the bedroom when I sleep because she had a habit of jumping from the dresser to the nightstand using my head as a springboard... which sounds adorable but is significantly less adorable at 3 in the morning when it wakes me from a sound sleep.
Stupid doomed timeline...My kitten just come outside to watch me tend to my garden. I am very worried by this as all of the doors were closed and locked, I am also sure she was inside when I shut the doors. She seems to have found some way of getting outside. >_<
Checks windows and things.
Oh really when?I have done so, the only widows which were open were on the second floor. I tend to keep all the openings to my house on the lower flower shut and locked unless I have to pass through them. I was worried that she may have jumped but I did not think she would do such a thing?
Cats can do anything. They love high places and can jump from stuff and land safely.
Oh really when?Indeed, they are quite agile! ^_^
I will make sure to shut those windows when I go outside in future. Thank you!
I have some new pictures of my kitten. She has grown quite a bit bigger!
She still needs a name though. >_<
What a pretty kitty!
I would like to pet her. She looks very soft, especially her tum.
Stupid doomed timeline...She is indeed very soft. ^_^
Hmm...something's wrong with this cat.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
She is very soft, I have never felt another cat with fur as soft as hers. ^_^
