New Pokemon Void Explorers RP Thread

"I'm OK." Holly said. "Got hurt from that crashed Jump Kick, but Leech Seed healed me up all right. I haven't introduced myself Mr. Ghastly. I'm Holly Barker. Former human, current adorable deer. I want to fix that." she said confidently.

"Ah...my name´s Marcus. I live in an abandoned villa nearby. As for "fixing" your current state, I haven´t got a clue how it could be done either. So...any ideas, what you´re going to do?"

Holly shook her head. "I haven't got a clue. I guess the best think to do is head to that village Squiggly mentioned. See if any of the native Pokemon now about humans turning into Pokemon." she said.

"Well...since there have been quite a lot of agressive Pokemon around lately, I´d suggest you practicing your attacks too... Really, why are they this agressive? Something really bad must have happened..."

"Wild Pokemon attack all the time where I come from." Holly said. "But if all Pokemon are intelligent something must be unnerving them to cause this kind of conflict."

"It could be their habitat is getting disrupted," Isaac piped out. "When...when Mt. Chimney became threatened all the Pokémon suddenly turned hostile and violent. We couldn't leave the town for days." Or we shouldn't have. "But could we, maybe, get somewhere safe before talking about this?"

"Good idea." Holly said. "Now where should we go?"

Squigly frowned. "Well if we're gonna head to the town, we gotta travel through an unsavory area first. You can't just walk in and out of this forest ya know." He told them. "Hang on for a sec."

He went into the tall grass, and moved some grass aside, which was covering a large muddy hole. He went in there and grabbed a few supplies. He came out of the grass with a large bindlestick strapped to his back. "I usually don't travel with a group, so I packed more supplies in here. Oh, you guys better stick with me. You don't wanna get lost. The part of the forest we're going to has a nasty tendency to change shape a lot." He told them. "I'll explain later. As for the townsfolk, they're friendly, but the recent rise in hostile Pokemon have them paranoid. They won't let you guys in, but they know me pretty well, so if you stick with me, they shouldn't have too much of a problem with you guys." He told them.

"Thank you Squiggly." Holly said earnestly. "I hope this isn't too much trouble." she said.

"Oh well, think I´ll follow you guys. Maybe we can find out, what´s behind all of this stuff. My house has been attacked thrice in the last month. And I´m kind of intrigued, how the others are going to react when I come back. That is, if they still remember me..."

Ash kept along and said, "Yeah, for you to be so helpful to us and all...we'll find a way to repay you."

He was not afraid of going through a muddy hole. He thought he remembered going through one of them with his old partner, a Pikachu, once or twice.

In fact, this shifting wood seemed...oddly familiar.

Holly walked forward scanning the area for the entrance to the deeper forest. "I think we can handle a few wild ones." she said.

"Yeah...as long as there aren´t any too powerful Pokemon, we should be fine.

As the group of Pokemon chat, something watches them from afar... It leaps down and runs to them, hiding just beyond their range of vision in the tall grass. He spots the Deerling and ponders when a loud noise rings through the forest, ridiculing him! He leaps and tries to tackle the Deerling with Thrash! He leaps up and fires his Dragon Breath at Squigly! He lands and begins to pick up a large amount of rocks! He begins thrashing them around the room in sheer panic!

Marcus reacts quickly, using Hypnosis to put the Archen to sleep!

One of the rocks smacked into Isaac's head armour, leaving it undented but with his head ringing. In panic he swiped towards where the attack came from...and sliced the rock clean in half. His stub of an arm gleamed with a metallic sheen as he stared at in shock. "Metal Claw?! But...I don't even have claws..."

"Ow," Brent grumbled rubbing his head. He really did not like rocks. "What's his problem? Should we wait for him to wake up or just keep going?"

"I think we should wait for him to wake up. He might know something important, and if he´ll still try to attack us, we can battle him. He shouldn´t be that strong. But to be sure, I´d suggest we tie him up. Does anybody see something rope-like around?"

Ash picked up a vine and took it over.

"One random attack after another..."

Holly was thrown back by the attack and hit the Archen with another Leech Seed. "Can't we just get a break around here?" she asked.

Marcus used Telekinesis to tie the Archen to a tree. "Probably not. The forest should be even worse. I just hope we make it..."

Ash nodded, and decided to look around with Aura Sight, "Well, at least now we're in a relatively calm period. I do not see anything in the general area, so we should be able to continue on."

He really hoped they never had to deal with that Archen ever again.

"OK" Holly said walking ahead scanning for enemies. She fearlessly ventured on into the forest hoping to get back to normal as soon as possible.

"So we're just leaving him there?" Brent asked no one in particular. Sure he attacked them but it hardly seemed fair to leave him knocked out and tied up for the next attacker. Well, he'd free himself when he woke up.

With a shrug Scorp scrambled up a tree trunk and launched himself after Holly.

"Hey! Wait up!"

Gliding was awesome!
