OK, what sort of help do you want from us?
What's precedent ever done for us?If you want my personal recommendation on ideas related to the UC, I'd say we're missing a grand story of engineering, personal skill as a pilot, courage, and learning to fight with a new weapon.
I am of course referring to the introduction and first combat sorties of the Federation GM. (Picture a combination of From the Earth to the Moon series and some of the Band of Brothers/The Pacific stuff and you'll see what I'm trying to do here.)

Nous restons ici.@Night No, it's not meant to be an overtly serious story like the main series. Again, it's like the "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" of Gundam.
Basically just trying to come up with certain ideas about major events that occurred in Sept.-Dec. of 0079 and a humorous way a minor character could have indirectly had a hand in the events—from the ambush at Side 7 to the Siege of A Baoa Qu
For instance, (as stated earlier) a message is sent to the WHITE BASE regarding the RX-78NT1 Gundam "Alex" gets deleted, and as such it remains at Libot and Amuro never gets to fly it.
Or probably being a second party eavesdropping on Char and Sayla's conversation at the Texas colony.
There's plans to include lampshading and more.

To be specific, I'm trying to think up ideas for a story set during the One Year War and seeing the events of the original 1979 series (chiefly) through the POV of Katz, Letz, and Kikka. Think of it along the lines of "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" and the "Tag and Bink" series of comics (read them, dammit)—basically, they indirectly affect the proceedings of the last four months of the conflict... like the "real" reason the "Alex" (from "Gundam 0080") never got to the WHITE BASE.
Also included: some little things I've noticed in the series and movies that don't really get brought up a lot as well as some Big-Lipped Alligator Moments.
