Duplicate image (with TooDumbToLive): This Way To Certain Death

Which one keeps it?

(Other page is Too Dumb to Live)

I prefer that the image stay on Too Dumb to Live and be removed from This Way to Certain Death. She is looking in the "death" direction, which is dumb. Much harder to picture. The image isn't really an example of TWTSD in any useful way.

Okay that is an awesome Too Dumb to Live picture.

Whether or not the baby bear picture is good for Too Dumb to Live, the signposts picture is weak for This Way to Certain Death. TWTSD means an area is Obviously Dangerous for some reason, skeletons of previous explorers littering the floor, or something.

There are many ways that could be photoshopped, but my brain will not let me doubt. I would say this bear one would be good for Too Dumb to Live while the other would be better for TWTSD.

Thanks for pointing that out. Ultimatum, could you suggest that pic in that thread, so we can keep this one for suggestions for This Way to Certain Death?

I say this page keeps it then since there are already a lot of alternatives on Too Dumb To Live and my objection to replacing the image is being contested. So yall win, replace too dumb too live and keep the scary movie picture on This Way To Sudden Death.

I think that the current image fits better on This Way to Certain Death than Too Dumb to Live, especially considering the suggestions in the other thread.

The Scream (?) image with the safety/death signs is an awful image for This Way to Certain Death. That trope is about places looking deadly; being told "that way is deadly" in the image is only barely better than being told that in a caption.

Bump. I've put up the edited Donald image for now, as no one has opposed it or made other suggestions for weeks.

Er...now NEITHER page has the Scary Movie image. And it was a good image.

Can't we put it back on one or the other? I'd prefer Too Dumb to Live, since the image there isn't even from anything.

Actually, it is from something. It's from Darwin Awards. (See also Too Dumb to Live thread; my criticisms of the former image are there too.)

Obviously it has to have come from somewhere (whether this site or elsewhere) or it wouldn't exist. o.o

EDITED IN: Speaking of the one on Too Dumb to Live, can we get rid of the grey line?

EDITED IN again: Also, this trope's title seems to contradict its description. From the title it seems to be about branching paths, one of which leads to certain death; from the description it seems to be about finding evidence along a path that it's getting increasingly dangerous. The Scary Movie one is fitting to the former, while the current image is fitting to the latter.

I know. The Scary Movie picture should be on Too Dumb to Live, while the Darwin Awards image is on...well...the Darwin Awards.

Not knowing that hiddenfacedmatt already did so, I uploaded the Too Dumb to Live image without the line. Now there are duplicates on the server. Oh well.

I agree that the saw guy should be put on the Darwin Awards page. The caption is even tailor made for that page. And we need more film images on trope pages, so I would be all for putting the Scary Movie image back on Too Dumb to Live. The Donald image can be put on This Way to Certain Death.

That works for me.
