I'd say you can.
Isn't that a duplicate of a work image? I thought those were okay.
Fight smart, not fair. It's okay, but it's better if we don't. I'd like to find something that makes the trope title a little more evident, personally.
EDIT: Well, it's not much better, but there's this◊.

There's actually a pretty good image already linked to on the page.◊
Seems like only a quarter of it will fit, so it should obviously be the Doctor.
And the caption is:
Steven Moffat: "we're not lying, we're not cheating. One of those four people is going to die." He was lying.

Just to ask, how did he get away with lying like that? :P

I remember the season finale having this weaselly line where the he says something like "the prophecy said I was supposed to be killed, but it didn't say that I couldn't get inside a robot that looks exactly like me and then have that robot be killed instead."
I don't know, don't ask me. I think it's kind of like how some psychics can get so involved in their own acts that even they think they're the real thing.

I'd be fine with that one.
I'm not familiar with the context of the Doctor Who example, but whatever we do we ought to be careful to avoid spoilers.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartIf we go with that one, I'd say no caption; that should keep things ambiguous, especially if it's in the body of the article.
How about just the "we're not lying, we're not cheating. One of those four people is going to die." part for the caption? It's the opposite of a spoiler.
So, any more suggestions? Would anyone prefer one of the other covers?◊

Yeah, I like the Doctor Who example. Also, you have to respect Steven Moffat's philosophy of lying to his fans if he thinks it will make for a better tv show. It's been controversial, but I think it's a smart way to handle the fact that fans want to know everything all the time. On the other hand, the way The Wedding of River Song ended was a bit on the gimmick-y end of things...
Anyhow, that aside now set, well, aside, I think the image with the Doctor is the best one because:
A) He's the most recognizable and interesting.
B) Stetsons are cool.

It doesn't seem like there are any complaints or other suggestions, so we'll run with this?
I'd be fine with that.
My only concern is whether or not it counts as a spoiler in itself. If we're reasonably sure it doesn't, I'm fine with the image.

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI can't think of any way that it would be a spoiler.
The picture's up. It doesn't really need a caption, but if anyone has a good idea...

As a fan of the show, I can tell you it really doesn't. Not only does it not tell which character dies, but it turns out to be a red herring of sorts anyway.
I potholed the image to Doctor Who.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartAh, I knew I forgot something. Thanks.
Looks good; locking up.
Since The Night Gwen Stacy Died uses this same picture, can I pull the version here?
