Episode 6: Roseweisz being the Norse Pahntheon joke character and Ddraig crying where my highlights this episode. Xenovia thing at the end was a sure, why not. Koneko in bed was adorable. And Asia is super lewd. Not really feeling Issei/Asia/Astaroth triangle. Decent episode. Seems like we are getting too many deviations from the main plot though.

Not feeling the love triangle is completely the point. Light Novel Readers will understand that.

Apparently, Scott Freeman posted on his FB that the reason he wasn't cast in the broadcast dub wasn't due to schedule conflicts. ....uuumm... it's because he lost his wife, car, home, and has cancer, and is now retiring from voice acting. ....fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffoooookin hell!!!!

Oh look that Astaroth dude that wants Asia turns out to be a total evil douche. and Koneko's sis wants Issei now too. Looks like we are getting back to the action. Dammit though Azazel better not die he is too awesome.

Apparently Issei tastes like virgin. I don't know why but that greatly amuses me.

Episode seven, despite deviating from the LN in numerous ways, was awesome sauce! The cosplay event was fantastically hilarious! Remember, the official polls rate this show very highly, among women! I can't wait for episode 8, according to the preview, it looks like we'll finally get Bilingual! This show is fun again. Loved it! For pete's sake just fire the censors already. The hit and miss censorship really serves no purpose.

Oh and yes. Kuroka DOES say that in the LN too.

Note. That the censors are Funimation only. It actually airs uncensored in Japanese TV, which makes it the only exception, practically.

By the way ep 8 is out.

Both curb stomps of Freed and Diodora are glorious to watch.

We didn't get the Oppai Dragon song, but man, Juggernaut Drive did NOT disappoint!

And Sirzechs got nerfed just a tiny bit. That devil that got atomized, was supposed to get a ball of destruction shoved down his throat, not just get cocooned in it.

Truly an awesome episode all around.

Oh Yeah! The Juggernaut drive finally shows up how cool is that. Seeing it in the anime is cooler.

That was pretty fucken metal goddamn. Also Issei and Vali's maximum brofist was pretty great, even recalling the ending to S2, except in that "Man remember that shit?" "Yeah dude you rocked" way.

I liked Issei trying to get his reunion with Asia only for Xenovia to shove him away and be all over that shit first. Good change from the norm, and Issei's already has his dramatic reunion scenes with Asia. Sir Zechs getting to strut his stuff offensively (unlike last season where he was all defense for the little ones) was badass too and jesus you don't fuck with Lucifer.

And then Issei's arm fucks him again, kid can't catch a break this season holy shit.

Delicious Juggernaut Drive is delicious.

I really like the inclusion of Issei being haunted by Raynare throughout this season. At least, I'm pretty sure it wasn't mentioned or so pronounced during these two volumes(5 and 6). Or maybe I'm misremembering...

Hm? Did Ophis appear before everyone like that in the novel? Or was it a private chat? Can't recall. Still, the thought of everyone present having a Great Red Viewing Picnic crossed my mind. Hehe.
