What would a deconstruction of Family Guy look like?

Someone needs to do a fanfic of this. I'd read it.

How redundant. It's unfunny as is! how more unfunny can it get?

I could write this as a fan fiction. I'd probably try to add at least some humor, however. Make it more like Bo Jack Horseman. I'd have a series of fanfic-episodes start off like normal Family Guy, then slowly show something different in the air, then go full-blown deconstruction and possible reconstruction. The episode "Brian and Stewie" sort-of did this, which makes it disappointing that Seth and crew don't try more episodes like that one.

It can't be helped.

Peter and Lois would get jailed for domestic abuse crimes (against each other and there kids). The kids would need some serious psychiatric counseling. Chris and Meg at her best would probably get through, Stewie and Meg at her worst though would probably get thrown into a asylum.

Quagmire would get jailed and put on the sex offender list if he gets out alive (that's not even getting to the murder charges).

Not sure about anyone else. I think Joe might get fired from his police job though for letting Peter and Quagmire pull some serious shit though.

That's definitely something I'd love to see.

A deconstruction of family guy...I'm put in mind of the "Bringing Up Father" parody Will Elder did for Mad Magazine back in the '50's, where he played all the slapstick and 30's era cartoon domestic comedy tropes absolutely realistically (showing the effects of alcoholism realistically, showing a character actually getting seriously injured when his wife throws dishes and whatnot at him, etc).

The characters committing suicide after realizing they are poorly written and are doomed to remain such forever.

Edgy enough?

The series reverts back to what it was in its first season.

Series reverts back to Season 1... Then ends at Season 1 with the world getting destroyed by nuclear war, creating a new series from that - that only lasts 3 seasons at most and then ends with them all dying brutally, because they deserve nothing less.

Seriously - this show is worthless as it is and I really don't care... I just want to see real violence over what the hell these writers were thinking.

This topic has turned into creator bashing and will thus be locked. Come on, people.
