Don't you have to go to IP first before changing an image once it becomes an official trope? The second and last one shows it better I think.
"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."Don't "have to" anything. That's kind of counter to the idea of wikis in general. Question is whether your change will stick.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.This.
Again, I probably should have taken this to image pickin' first, but what's done is done, and my questionable etiquette has no bearing on whether the Fluttershy-bee image is fitting or not.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI'm not saying it does, just taking it there so everyone would see that it was changed to seems to be the standard. Ignore my statement, it's irrelevant now anyway.

"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."Yellow pony's good.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanThe last one is the only one I like out of the three.

"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."The second picture, while a bit Squicky to me, works for me.

"I know where I am, I just don't know where I am in where I am." - MeI vote for Leon Loves Bugs
When people think "bugs" they typically think small ones like bees or flies or the like.
It's my 2nd-favourite in the thread so far, but I still prefer the Fluttershy-bee one over it for a few reasons:
- 1. The book one's text just makes it seem, rightly or wrongly, like it's partly dependent on the text. This isn't an inherently bad thing, but I do think the Fluttershy one getting it across without text is a point in its favour.
- 2. The book one includes more "majestic" bugs like butterflies, ones that may count as bugs but typically aren't thought of as such.
- 3. I also prefer the Fluttershy one's drawing style over that of the book one.

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI think subconsciously I just opposed to consider the ponies most of the time, but you've convinced me. I support Fluttershy...Then Leon Loves Bugs.
"I know where I am, I just don't know where I am in where I am." - MeEither Fluttershy or Leon Loves Bugs works for me.

"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."I like Leon Loves Bugs.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Should we set up a crowner, or wait for more options?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartA crowner's probably going to be needed. I'll hook a blank one shortly.
Added two of the more obviously-liked choices, as well as a generic "stick with the Parasprite" one (honestly, they seem like bugs more than anything else...).
Moon◊I honestly liked the Wall-E picture because the way he was looking it gave me the impression that he held some fascination over the crickit. The image currently on there sucks, there is nothing that suggests that the thing she is holding is a bug.
New theme music also a boxYeah, it looks like a fairy to me.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Add it to the crowner if you want, though it looks like Leon is a runaway leader.
If the Leon Loves Bugs one wins, could we use this◊ image of the cover instead of the one currently in the crowner? The other one has a distracting white blurry region toward the bottom and I don't think that's part of the cover itself so much as an error in scanning it.
EDITED IN: Or perhaps this one◊ so as not to have that "Sprinters" logo in it. (whatever that is.)

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThanks for finding those; I changed the link in the crowner to the second one.
Well, the Leon one seems to be in the lead, at 7 points in the green, which is 10 points ahead of the alternatives, which are tied with each other. Is it time to call this?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe crowner's only been open one day. I generally don't like to call a super-decisive crowner before 3 days unless the winner's got at least 10 votes and/or a 10:1 ratio...if that happens soon, more power to the pic, but if not then it won't hurt to let this run through the weekend.
Alright, I'm gonna go ahead and call this one since there's such a wide gap between the leader and the others. The pic is up and tagged; locking up.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
When I first launched this trope, it was with the following image:
As I had just watched the movie and found that a fitting image because of Wall E's facial expression.
I later switched to something of Rarity hugging a parasprite, which was more obviously more affectionate than just looking at bugs...
And after that, to an even more affectionate-looking one of Twilight Sparkle hugging another parasprite.
On second thought, I'm not sure if parasprites even canonically count as bugs in the first place, (some descriptions have labelled them fairy-like creatures) and if they don't, the above two images risk being non-examples. Would anyone here have such confirmation one way or another?
In hindsight, I probably should have taken this to the forums in the first place, if only because that would have been better etiquette, though I'm not sure if the standards are a bit different when it's by the same user who launched the trope.
EDITED IN: Personally, I suggest using the following...
... because bees very obviously count as bugs, and though she isn't being "affectionate" to them so to speak, she's letting them use a flower that's on her head, and I think that alone is more than enough to demonstrate this trope.
