I must confess that the name “Saber” makes me think of the beautiful blonde knight lady from Fate/stay night. ^_^;; 
I still say Rin Tohsaka is the most beautiful lady in the show, though. 
And so is Irisviel. 
Yeah, I think maybe my auburnette girlfriend named the cat Saber after the Fate Saber.

The 2’s in this “shortening” seem a bit odd to me. If there’s three or more letters of the same type, i.e. E3, then it makes sense because you save one character, but in this particular instance there’s no really good reason for it, as far as I can tell. Sounds cooler? Is easier to pronounce?
As another example, the Chaos Computer Club, a hacker conference, shortens its name to “CCC”. Dunno what this example favors, but there you have it

I'm stuck on this homework again. Going to the teaching assistant office hours didn't really help much either. I'm gonna take a break from this and do something more relaxing, like watching some nature videos online.
