Um... what?
Please don't blank an image before starting a thread about it.
Oh, that is backwards, that was added, not removed. Someone else removed.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. What's unclear? It's a proposition for an imageless trope with the suggested picture and caption.
The problem isn't a lack of clarity, but that it's essentially Just A Face And A Caption. To fit the particular trope you'd need to - in some way - show the act or result of the character inspiring others. I'm personally not too familiar with the source material, but does any other character, say, start wearing similar glasses at some point (as I've understood that those are quite iconic)?

I did that. But it was because we had a few of these for this trope, and those often mean any more suggestions need an image picking thread. This trope just forgot that message.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. What's unclear is how this is supposed to demonstrate the trope in any fashion. It doesn't.

The intent was obvious, and the character in question is certainly an example. JAFAAC wouldn't be so notorious if it wasn't such an easy trap to fall into. Dismissive rhetorics help no-one.

Again, I don't even know who "the character in question" is. And the OP certainly didn't bother to explain.
I'm not sure what the point you're trying to make is, really. We both agree that the proposed image is totally unsuitable.
How will anyone figure out the problem with their suggestion if all they get are scoffs? JAFAAC is easy to recognize regardless of source material knowledge once you're aware of it, so just send 'em that way.
I'm tired of this forum getting cluttered up with threads caused solely by Fan Myopia. We have some pretty clear guidelines on what makes a good image, and if someone isn't going to take the five minutes to RTFM before proposing one, I don't feel particularly inclined to not be snide about it.
Again, I don't even know what that image is supposed to be. I don't recognize the character in the first place, let alone how he (?) is supposed to represent the trope. If the OP can't be bothered to explain why the image is a good one, why do I need to explain why the image is a bad one?
Let's not get sidetracked.
So. Yeah. JAFAAC.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. As a Gurren Lagann fan, it's JAFAAC.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!@nrjxll: He's agreeing with you. He's just saying "Actually tell the OP the problem instead of scoffing."
And another vote for JAFAAC.
Yup, classic JAFAAC by way of Fan Myopia. Good example, bad picture.
Reaction Image RepositoryThis actually would need dialog, since it's not just a character alone, but a character plus motivation.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Might need. Not necessarily. The "character plus motivation" might be communicated by something else.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Okay, any example for the Paragon would have to involve a character.
In this example its Kamina, a Paragon trope character from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann at the crowing moments of one of his inspirational speeches.
It's flashy, its loud to look at, and has a good quote, and considering there is no image on the trope, it would probably do as well as any other you can think of.

Page images are not a place to put an example above the example line.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Kamina can still work, I think, just not that image of him. Or we can have that directly on top of the people he inspired, Team Dai-Gurenn, wearing his colors or waving his flag or something.
I haven't found a good image yet, though I'm sure one exists, considering Kamina inspiring others to fight is one of the show's central themes.
+1 for the Kamina pic being JAFAAC. I'm clocking this; if anyone's got a better suggestion, speak now.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
