What's also amusing is that there's a brief summary of the story of the previous games... In the Instruction manual in SIGN's physical version
A corpse should be left well enough alone...So uh I got a question: If Dizzy is Sol's daughter then when was she like born?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's what we've all been asking.
She was born from an egg sometime after Justice was defeated (hence how she could have been born after Justice was defeated in the first place).
She's half gear, but both of her parents are full gears, which means one of them must have still been human when she was first conceived and has sex with the other when that one was a gear.
Since we know Sol was the prototype gear, it stands to reason that he must have been converted first, had sex with Aria, then she was converted while pregnant with Dizzy. why it took so long for her to lay the egg is a mystery (the fight against her went on for a100 damned years. That's a long ass time to be pregnant), but I actually have a theory that Justice's retconned appeared in Xrd was how she was supposed to look, but in the final years of the war, she finally started putting out Dizzy's egg, so put on the armour that we see her wearing in the first game to protect herself while she brought the egg to term, and finally fully gives birth to Dizzy sometime either before she was first sealed, or after she was released but before she is killed by Sol for good (I have to figure out how much time passed between Justice's first sealing and Testament's tournament to free her).
So yeah. Pretty damned confusing.
One Strip! One Strip!Alternative theory: How plausible do you think it is that Dizzy was conceived when both of her parents were human, but was affected by her mother's Gear conversion while she was still in the womb?
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani...
Quite possible really. There are still things about both the gear conversion and Dizzy's birth that are up in the air, just enough that such a thing can't be ruled out.
One Strip! One Strip!Wait, that means Sin is a 1/3rd Gear right? Since Dizzy is only half.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. The commentary on the only upload of Revelator's story on You Tube is very l o l
Zappa and Randy's buddy banter adventure
So because my question got kinda buried last page, what are all ya'll thoughts/opinions on Ariels, for those who've watched the story?
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiI wasn't expecting much from her, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by her personality and methods. She's like CS Terumi taken up to eleven.
Well she should be fun to see once I play Revelator.
Another question. I know Sol raised Sin once he got older but did Ky spend any time with him? Also how long did Dizzy raise him before he got to old & Sol had to take care of him?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ky hardly spent any time with Sin due to kingly duties. Sin's character arc when he first appeared was, in fact, being disgruntled with Ky as a father and refusing to acknowledge him as such.
Dizzy took care of him for...I wanna say a year? It's never explicitly said, but the only clue is Sin's age when Sol adopts him. In the short stories, he appeared to be like, what, six to nine years at the time Sol adopts him? And if Dizzy looked to be in her twenties at three years old, then I'm approximating that to Sin being a year old at the time. All guesswork, of course, but hey.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiOh my fucking God Robo Ky
The man, the Legend, Robo-Ky... Voiced by Shigeru Chiba
EXPLOSION WITCH HYPERDIMENSIONAL HYPEHe is a god
So I guess Sol being able to materialize his motorcycle is because of the magic used during Overture?
I can't hold all these great character interactions
Okay, Ariels, your inner creep is showing
Damn, Baiken mellowed out really well. Where is Anji?
Well, there are currently no gears in front of her.
Lets see how she acts in front of Sol or Dizzy and say if she mellowed out then.
One Strip! One Strip!Wow, game deserves its title. So that's why That Man did what he did.
And holy fuck, Ariels is just insane.
Robo-Ky, Venom ;_;
And it's over. Goddamn what a ride.
I can't help but feel that the end credits bit with the character roll was inspired by the MCU films.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...More than likely a coincidence, though Civil War did do something similar in its end credits with the silhouettes.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiFinally found this thread, yay.
Heart of Stone
Hoo boy, It's a doozy, there's just so much history to cover. I suggest checking out the Library Mode, there's a timeline there showing the Guilty Gear world's history, and a whole lot of other information in the Library Mode entries themselves.
