Like any mention of the outrage?
Actually, yes. It has an entry, and weapons related to it are noted as such. Vastedge and the people involved are also summed up and described. Entries also have a feature where you can look at topics related to them. For example, on Axl's page, you can open a tab to quick select topics like Megumi or Time Skipping.
Yeah, XX and Accent Core's stories felt way too much like filler, and most of the characters introduced there turned out to be unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
Those games are basically the cast's Bogus Weekend. Actually, they're so unimportant, that the timeline in the library barely even mentions them. for example, Eddie (Not Zato, Eddie possessing Zato's body) is said to have died before Jam's Restaurant got burned down, which contradicts XX and Accent Core where Eddie is still alive.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Managed to find a walkthrough of Xrd, saw a few minutes of it, and I have to ask: What's the in-game chronological order, as in, does Arcade Mode happen prior to Story Mode?

Story Mode happens immediately after Arcade Mode. In particular, Sol's Arcade Mode ending directly ties into the beginning of Story mode.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I got to say, I really did end up loving Xrd's story mode. It was definitely the better of the three Arc Sys stories that came out this year...Though it's not like Xrd had to try to beat Ultimax-Disappointment.
Best part of the story, for me, was The fact that I could actually stop hating That Man. His motives now actually make a lot more sense knowing that he was forced to wipe out Japan in order to prevent the entire end of the world, even if that meant damning his best friend's soul in the body of Justice in the process
It almost feels like Xrd was going to be another overture sequel.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I already gave my thoughts on Story Mode here, but I have a few more thoughts since seeing the stream. I think the biggest saving grace of the story is the characters, thanks to really enjoyable personalities, interactions, and dialogue.
Also, seeing how this game's presentation turned out, I honestly think that 3D Fighters are able to do story modes much better than 2D fighters. Visual Novel cutscenes are more interesting thanks to more varied facial expressions and action beats can be shown without cutting to anime cutscenes, slides, or having to work with the gameplay sprites.

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Is this in comparison to how SF does it?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Games like Blaz Blue, King of Fighters, Skullgirls and the like.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...The way you worded it sounds weird; are you saying the way they do plot is better due to the reason to laid out or...
Basically, you're saying the way Xrd did it does it better than the aformentioned games.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Oh no, I mean presentation wise. The plot itself being better is very debatable, and can swing any way. I'm just saying that the way the story is told in Xrd is fantastic, and shows much more artistic freedom than 2D Games provide.

Thanks
Ok, thanks for clarifying. I thought you were saying the opposite because even if I like BB more, Xrd's story presents itself much more coherently.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Xrd's presentation is good but the story itself is
something. Like some really cool things come out of it, but some really STUPID things happen too.
If anyone has Xrd and wants to do online, my PSN ID is Emperordaein.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Whenever I see "Xrd" I keep thinking "Xmas" or "Xrdmas."
So has anyone here played Leo yet? I heard he's very low tier. It's a shame when that happens to DLC characters.
Better than getting broken DLC characters like Kokonoe. Then it just feels like pay-to-win.
On the Xrd day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
Though I have been hearing some stuff about Elphelt (who is apparently free on PSN up until early January for those who don't know) being pretty scary herself.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyGeneral consensus is that Leo may end up as mid-tier at best. He's got tons of shenanigans, but apparently there are plentiful strategies to overcome them. That said, we should wait until he's developed more and we can see what he's really made of.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiHe seems pretty good, but I've only seen him on high level and against people who still don't know how to fight him.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well, I downloaded Leo and I actually completed all of his challenges. I couldn't even do that with Axl, who's my main/fav.
I like Leo's defensive moves. I've only done some practicing and the challenges, but having a way to instantly block after a move seems like it could be handy, though I guess you can get around that one by doing a low or a grab. Still, seems like it could work like a Third Strike parry to a degree.
Overall, Leo seems like a sort of defensive/counter type character, and those sorts have always intrigued me. I like anticipating moves, countering, and following them up. Something just feels good about reading the opponent and punishing.
At first I didn't get it, then I saw "E = mc squared" pass him by and I was like...
I got it.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiRandom post, but doesn't this sound like something out of Guilty Gear?
It sorta does, actually. Particularly that intro.

That's what I don't like about it. Plus the whole backyard and loads of technobabble too. Most of my favorite GG cast came from the X series and it seems like wasted potential.
