"Removal" is such a harsh word. I would say "Not having all the resources and time" to put every one in.

According to Ishiwatari, it's because Team Red is limited with their resources. They want to put in alot more characters, but don't have the budget.

So wait, Team red and team blue are official titles?

That vid just confirms we're looking at like at least 3-4 versions of this game.

ASW is as bad as Capcom at this point, if not worse.

Yeeeeep. At least Capcom charges a reasonable $5 instead of $8 when it comes do DLC.

And again, unless ASW becomes a AAA company no one's going to start a riot over it.

Because they know only fans give a shit, the only reason Capcom is put under such fire is because they'er a mainstream company.

Friend of mine threw out a comparison to kof12 several months ago (first time I saw it, not the most recent). I thought it was too early to say that at the time but it wasn't that farfetched.

Although Arcsys isn't going to release a game with no content and horseshit netcode, the similarities are there unfortunately.

Multiple versions of Xrd would be justified as long as it gets a strong competitive following. Have you seen how many people are demanding another update to UMvC3?

EDIT: It'll probably also help if they keep us waiting long enough between each version. One of the reasons people want a new Marvel 3 is because it went for a year or two without anything new before Capcom finally confirmed they were done with it.

Yeah, even if this game turns out not to be as good as XX's iterations, just the fact that there's a new GG is good enough for me.

That's what I wanted out of a new Darkstalkers sequel. Even if it turns out to be garbage (and knowing Capcom's current development team, it WOULD'VE been), at least you'll get fresh blood gaining an interest in the series...

Or so I can dream. Capcom's squandered Darkstalkers since it's inception, anyway.

Guilty Gear X2 #Reload is now available on Steam.

I mean, I'm all for getting more people into Guilty Gear, but why the outdated #Reload?

I don't see much of a point if it's it's not Λ Core Plus R.

Probably because it was the one already on PC and it was the easiest to port. Translation: laziness.

Though to be fair apparently Xrd is closer to to #Reload anyway, so at least it's good preparation.

It'd be the best way to prep for Xrd, because every entry past #Reload was ignored gameplay-wise when Xrd was cooked up.

Reload is still very fun though and the last GG with blood unless slash had it too which I think it did? Oh Isuka/Judgement but I'm not counting those.

So to add to a certain piece of trivia from a certain pre-order bonus character for Xrd...

You know I probably wouldn't mind Elphelt's design as much if she lost the bunny ears. I think that's just a bit too much.

They're basically just a thinner version of whatever Ramlethal's wearing, so I'm a bit more inclined to overlook it.

Yeah, it seems more of a connection to Ramlethal and the Valentines in general.

Somewhat off topic, but there's no way I can see the phrase "gunner of love" without picturing this guy.

That said however, it's really nice to see a character with guns who just plain shoots you. No fancy acrobatic gunfu shit, just point and click.

Eh, Gunfu is much more interesting to me then Point and shooting. If it's fantasy go all out with the gunplay.

But we've been doing that since the Matrix movies. It's nice to to back to basics sometimes, y'know?
