Dialogue. Not animations like in past games.

Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.That's right....poo.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.speaking of which, I've been bummed all throughout KOFXIII for not including special intro animations and only having like one victory animation a character. The little details like those made the King Of Fighters series that much more awesome.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Wow really, Benimaru doesn't even have one for the ladies anymore? whaaaaaa?
Nobody does. Probably because the new sprites were more expensive to make than the first five games put together.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Famitsu article with screenshots of Sin.
Along with the full Famitsu magazine scan.
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani... He still fights with that damn flag.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987what were you expecting
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiAn actual staff weapon and not that?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987lol
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiWelcome to Guilty Gear dude.
The flag was actually the best thing about his design due to how outlandish it was but eh I just don't care for the guy. The hunger mechanic sounds lame too, like why? Does he even need a gimmick really?
And where's TESTAMENT!!!? He's a guilty classic and the only one from the original cast sans Justice that's missing.
And playable Raven would've been so hyped.
Was Baiken already confirmed or something?
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!@nomuru: Good luck. A large part of GG thrives on crazy impractical fighting styles. For example, Chipp (armblade), Slayer (barely a hint of effort displayed in any of his moves), Faust (random crap and scalpel), Robo-Ky (random crap and Ky ripoffs containing more random crap), A.B.A. (keyblade and blood packs), Venom (a pool cue and pool balls)...
@Vertigo: You forgot Kliff, but he's also in the Justice category so...

Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.X is where it started getting crazy, X2 went balls deep into insanity and it just got weirder from there.
Let me see... The original only had Sol, Ky, Millia, May, Zato, Potemkin, Faust (as Baldhead), Chipp, Axl, Baiken, Tetament, Kliff and Justice. Out of those characters...
- Sol has a sword that's more a slab of steel with a handle than a sword.
- Millia uses her own hair.
- Zato uses his shadow.
- Potemkin only has gauntlets so that he doesn't flat out kill people in one punch. He is the weapon.
- Baldhead is Faust, and has a good chunk of his moves. Plus, even his base weapon is a giant scalpel.
- Chipp has the aforementioned armblade.
- Testament has a scythe made of his own blood.
- Kliff has Dragon Slayer, which I'm not sure I could describe simply.
So, that's 8 characters (7 minus Potemkin, who may not count) out of 13 with funky weapons. Pretty big chunk of the cast, if you ask me.

Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Dragonslayer is just a big sword though. I would put May's anchor up there.
Potemkin is kind of typical really and Baldhead wasn't wacky like Faust was, kind of just psychotic. Axl has a dual bladed kusurigama that's unique but not outlandish, same with chipp's arm blade which isn't even unique. Sol's sword again is unique in design, but in function pretty standard for fantasy anime/games.
Stick users might want to take a look at this bad boy.◊
(from ASW's Facebook page)
WANT.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Is that on the ASW USA page or a different one? Only custom thing I see on the USA page is a replica of Ky's Xrd sword.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.I know what I want for Christmas.
I hope you're ready to pay at least $300 on one of those.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle. At first glance it's pretty ugly(Santa colors) but then you realize it's Sol's swords and it suddenly becomes awesome.
Pretty sure MKX is supposed to have unique intro dialogue, unless I'm mistaken.
