also we actually had an american place 3rd at Evo in GG, Lost Soul from NYC
New "Guilty Gear" in development. Everyone act surprised.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. You guys can't say I don't know what the fuck I talk about now.
I've put my chips on the right place.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...I need some chips...
Mileena MadnessActually I'm pretty sure I heard GG 1 is getting a Switch port? Don't quote me on that though.
It got, some time ago, if I'm not mistaken.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Rammy's staying, she's one of the most popular newcomers.
Bridget's an indication that popularity alone isn't enough
Song of the SirensDaisuke's probably thinking more about who he wants to do story stuff with rather than popularity, I'd presume.
^^Bridget is a shoe in for this one. Believe it.
I'd much rather Bridget not come back if it would avoid the resurgence of those fucking disgusting transphobic memes about him. Jesus GG fans were awful about that
Not to mention the "HURR DURR PEOPLE ONLY KNOW GG BECUZ OF BRIDGET!" meme.
/ I honestly think that both modern-day politics and wanting to disassociate him from the franchise means that Arc System Works will never bring Bridget back into Guilty Gear again. While I can understand why, I'm honestly saddened because to me Guilty Gear just feels like it's missing something without him.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. You're underestimating how popular Bridget is. I certainly think Arc Sys would receive more discourse if they didn't put him in compared to if they did.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiNah Bridget is gonna come back, and I he's not a terribly offensive character, at least not enough for ASW to leave him out.
I don't find Bridget quite as integral to the series as some claim(he was a pretty minor character all things considered) but I did enjoy him as a character and his gameplay.
And I always found Brdiget to be fucking Adorbs, myself.
Watch SymphogearI kinda look at Bridget as another weird fetish character (little boy dressed as girl), though he's certainly unique.
I'm pretty indifferent on his return one way or another.
One Strip! One Strip! Now I wonder, if they do bring him back, if they'll end up making him look more obviously like a boy.

This song needs more love.A friend of mine once brought up the fact that (in relation to Bridget) if you change a character’s iconic design too much, fans get angry. We’ve already seen multiple examples of this in media, especially in games.
So I think, at the very least, they’ll keep Bridget cutesy and androgynous. At most, they might finally give him some clothes that a boy might wear, but he’ll definitely still appear like a girl, sound like a girl, etc. That’s the lynchpin of his character design.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiYou may as well have Sol use ice or make Johnny a ninja if you're going to do that.
I can see them making him sound more like a boy.
Cross posting from BBTAG Thread:
Xrd Rev 2 announced to be part of an ASW world tournament lasting from this fall up to next year's fall.
