Even though it was just this morning that I saw Andre Drummond apparently dominated the Rising Stars Challenge, I'd already forgotten that it was All-Star Weekend, and thus missed the Dunk Competition.
Man, the weekend doesn't really seem that cool this year.
The sad, REAL American dichotomySo there's that something new in the dunk contest. There some "East v. West" as well and the East won the first two matchups, I don't know about the third.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Marco "I LIKE MY MEATBALLS SPICY" Belinelli won the 3-Point Shootout, btw.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams! As much as I despise this idea, I... no longer fully despise this idea, if Noah and Rose both buy into it. The team's still too cheap to let it happen, though.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAnd Jalen Rose manages to survive his first sideline interview with Gregg Popovich.
My sides.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Mavs lost to the T'wolves in OT. Shame that simply because of geography the Mavericks would be a low-seed if they do get to the playoffs...

I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.I wonder if amnestying Boozer and picking up Love would work. Would the Bulls be able to afford it? I do like Boozer, though.
And we all know how the Central Division loves to recycle stars from Great Lakes states...
The sad, REAL American dichotomyDirk Nowitzki is now 10th in the all-time scoring list.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over. And Steve Nash is 3rd all-time in assists.
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!LEast: (1) IND-ATL (8), (2) MIA-CHA (7), (3) TOR-BRK (6), (4) CHI-WAS (5)
West: (1) SAS-DAL (8), (2) OKC-MEM (7), (3) LAC-GSW (6), (4) HOU-POR (5)

I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Mavs are supposed to be the only one of the Western Conference low-seeds that should be rolling over against their higher-seeded matchup...LOLWUT
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.As long as the Bulls stay healthy in order to win it all next year, and someone beats the Heat, I don't give a foul.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThat posturing gesture Lebron did in Game 3 might bite him in the ass in Game 4.
Michael Jordan will not stand for that insult, believe you me...
Neither goony beard-men nor rainbow-haired she-twinks will stand in the way of my dreams!Wait, what happened?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyMaybe he's pertaining to Lebron staring at Jordan for most of the time that he's running towards the other end of the court for a fastbreak dunk, only looking at the ring at the last moment.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over."Road game", they said.
Lol I love how Brooklyn fans always try to pretend that the Nets have a huge fanbase in Brooklyn
I live in Brooklyn and all I've seen are Knicks fans.
I was not expecting this at all...I was expecting him to get like a $100 fine or something stupid like that (I mean he's a billionaire so $2.5 million isn't that much but still). Also, he's so old that a life ban could literally mean tomorrow, but still, I like that they tried to punish him as much as possible.

I'm not sure how to feel about the punishment.
On one hand, there does need to be a level of financially-significant compensation in order to prevent a situation where a person is wealthy enough to easily afford all consequences of his behavior and thus feel unburdened by law.
On the other hand, I can't help but notice that this fine for what's been described to me as a private racist comment that was unwillingly made public is no less than two orders of magnitude greater than the typical fine would be for a poorer person who said similar comments to a target's face while actually assaulting them.
The absolute magnitude of the fine is not as important as its relative magnitude. Frankly, coughing up a percentage of one's wealth as a penalty for misbehavior ought to be more prevalent; this is the equivalent to Sterling of a parking ticket. And anyway, the fine goes to the NBA; it's not like the players or fans will see any of it.
It's more significant that he's banned for life and will have to sell the team.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well I'm fairly sure a poorer person who said this probably wouldn't see anny consequences, but if they said this while assaulting someone they would probably receive jail time.
Imagine a white player saying it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
The Rockets are doing better.
And I hope the Pistons do better, because they have a great lineup. If they get their chemistry together and get a few good deals near the trade deadline, they could turn it around like the time they won a title when they got SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED in a trade.
