If you don't look at the caption, this is just an image of a kingly guy on a throne, bidding a page to do something or other.

I will look for an image of King Arthur lying asleep in his Hollow Hill. Anyone know of other options?

Well, with Google I could only find these: [1], [2]

2nd suggestion could work.

Motion to pull

Pic doesn't clearly demonstrate the trope.

I'm not sold on either suggestion.

Random suggestions...

There's always the God Emperor Of Man...

Emprah1

Emprah2

It's too bad there's no pictures of Roboute Guilliman in stasis.

Here's a statue of King Ogier. Statue1

There's also the Odinsleep from Marvel comics.

[up]Can't really get behind any of those suggestions. The God-Emperor ones just look like life support failure.

Hm, first emperor looks dead or undead, and the second makes me think of Fate Worse than Death. But #2 might work.

It's strange that pictures of King Arthur are so difficult to find. I had found some of him surrounded by sad women but they looked more like mourners at a wake.

Being on a bed of some kind might convey the "sleeping, not dead" part.

I know of one good illustration of Holger the Dane. But it doesn't seem to be available anywhere in the web. Let me find the book and get it scanned — Monday, or maybe Tuesday...

The God-Emperor is one of those cases of "great example, bad pic".

Of those offered so far, the OP's #2 is the best suggestion. Opened to better ones though.

I don't even like that one, though if anyone can tell me how to get screencaps on Windows Media Player I suppose I could try for something better, if Madrugada can't get a scan of her suggestion.

It just surprises me there's nothing else out there for this.

Press ctrl+prntscrn which will copy everything on the screen as an image into the clip board. Paste this into mspaint or another art program and edit from there. Alternatively, most media players will have a right click "screen shot" function. WMP might have it under a "save" function as well.

Crap, Windows Media Player is designed specifically so screencaps are impossible. The Jarkwads.

Recommend VLC media player instead of WMP.

[up] The first one just looks like an abandoned mecha, and the second looks like something else, at least from what I could get from the link, the formatting's screwed up.

[up] Sorry, I'm a terrible poster. The second image is the first one from this page: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Army_of_the_Dead

Personaly, I would go with OP's second picture.

I'm going to make it Keep Until Better Image Suggested. It is not a bad image, there is just a suspicion, unmet at the moment, that there may be a better one, somewhere.
