So turns out there REALLY IS A GIANT ROBOT UNDERNEATH THE SCHOOL. Sadly, Estelle does not get to pilot it, and it's trying to kill us.

Also I have to say, there was a funny bit where Bleublanc being a creep got compared to Oliver's own school antics but at least Oliver isn't going to kidnap a bunch of school girls to do whatever the hell he wants.

Oh right, shit he can do that.

So now Bleublanc gives even more rapist esque dialogue towards Kloe, and she remains defiant, stating that even if she's bound in body, she won't be bound in heart, which impresses Bleublanc.

And then Estelle calls him a creepy mask dude.

Gotta love his reaction.

He must be proud that Alfin takes after him. That's actually pretty deep. What value is there in beauty if it's not loved?

I love how Bleublanc gives the stereotypical villain answer of "LOVE IS A HOLLOW ILLUSION" then backs up a bit and goes "Okay wait, no, you actually have a good point."

And then Dorothy shows up, and flashes everyone. With her camera of course, and frees the heroes because the light removed their shadows from the blades.

Huh, you know from Bleublanc's reaction, you'd think he knows her. I know Anom was shit posting but maybe there IS a chance Dorothy could be the grandmaster. Or Ouroboros as well.

The Bewitching Bell is unaccounted for after all.

I'm actually at the start of chapter 2, but just taking care of the remaining sidequests.

Epic foreshadowing. So Oliver was sent here in part to be in an arranged marriage with Kloe. We know that was the plan on Richard's and Dunan's end, but not Oliver's. And I really don't think he's into Kloe.

But that is the "official" reason Oliver is here, but what's his own reasons for being here? Skipping out on his duties? Looking for ways to foil Osborne's schemes here? I know Vita mentioned Osborne ruined the Society's plans in Liberl at some point during the ending of Cold Steel 2.

But if that's the case, then what's Osborne's plans? Does he want the Gospel as a weapon for the Empire? That would be one hell of a weapon if they could rig it so it selectively targets enemy orbments.

Finally done with all the quests! It's over, all hidden ones complete. Time to finally move on.

Obligatory heartwarming goodbye with the orphans and school friends of Kloe.

.....Hmmmmmmmm.....Dorothy isn't here? I'm going to keep an eye out on her, she can't possibly be Ouroboros since she ruined Bleublanc's plan but then again that IS par for the course for Ouroboros agents. Sharon could totally try to assassinate the Grandmaster and she would still be considered part of Ouroboros.

And Bleublanc seemed to recognize her.

I can't tell if I'm on the right track, or I'm gaslighting myself. I haven't felt this in a long while.

Anyway, so Kilika fills us in on the fact that wasn't the only Earthquake in the region as just a few days ago, there was one in wolf fort but it only affected that part and not the city.

But it's only a suspicion that Ouroboros is behind this so we should prioritize other things that are more immediate concerns like checking in with Russell and Tita about Gospel.

I love how Estelle is going all hypocritical humor on Oliver here, when she was talking about kidnapping Tita way back.

Honestly tho, I really want to see how Estelle reacts to Alfin being a thing. I know Renne shows up in Cold Steel 4 since I saw her gameplay, but I didn't see Estelle or Joshua or at least don't remember seeing them.

Tsk tsk, Bleublanc. Getting easier to solve your riddles. I think the hardest one in the series was his first round with the SSS. That one was really difficult.

...You know, I can't stay mad at Bleublanc with antics like this.

And so ends the latest battle of wits with Bleublanc. Got a bit challenging at the end, but I pulled through.

Funny how the characters speculate this is all some kind of sick game from Bleublanc to demonstrate how powerful he really is.

Compare that to how Class VII and the other bracers dismiss him sneaking aboard an airship in flight, capturing one of their members, flawlessly impersonating him, and being in the position to potentially kill any of them, as "oh it's just Bleublanc."

She wasn't invented yet in the series, as far as we know. Crossbell wasn't a planned arc yet either, that was going to be later. The original idea would've had CS after Second Chapter, and there's beta designs that suggest Alisa was going to be the protagonist.

DAMN IT, there was a hidden quest I missed at the start of Chapter 2.

And it was an investigation one as well. Fuck it, I can let go of this one quest right?

All of Alfin's concepts are established in sky, they just never give her name. We do hear that he has two siblings, is not the crown prince but older than the crown prince and has a close relative that is a Yaoi Fangirl.

So uhh question, is the future mayor of Ruan determined by what you do in the game or is it a set deal?

Its set who wins. Sadly the mayor never gets a portrait or really anything to do at important functions at the cast but he does appear. Honestly they could have done more with that plotline.

Okay, so the quest I missed won't affect much. Fuck it, maybe some other bracer can resolve it since I missed it.
