It's a great example, especially since it zig-zags (is that the right kind of Playing With? not sure): the problem isn't that she's the wrong flavor of human, it's that she's not human at all. Funny. Bad page image though, not demonstrative.

Hmm, nothing specific, but I think a mixed couple with someone glaring in the background is an obvious suggestion. Any examples of that jump to mind?

The image is behind the "no" sign is kinda pixellated, and the fact that it's forbidden seems because of the racial differences isn't really clear. It looks more like "no marriage" rather than "no mixed marriage".
