I liked the character creation in Mount And Blade, with some effort and time you can even create yourself with it.

Brink wasn't that bad about it, even if the playermodels were a bit...ugly. Still, multiple outfits that weren't half-bad and multiple possible color schemes meant a lot of customization.

I never get to play MMOs much due to not being able to pay for subscriptions, but one thing I loved doing was just creating my character. ^^ I shall miss my light blue Twi'lek with purple stripes from Star Wars Galaxies that I only had for the free trial month. (Also didn't know about printscreen, so she's lost to the ages. :( )
Anyone know of any games, MMO or otherwise, that let you create characters with relative freedom?
