That... was completely out of left field, but, yay, the drama subsided and it's better than pictureless! 
(I don't care for Transformers in any way, btw, BUT I accept a good picture for a trope when I see it, and L Mage apparently does as well. We're not Complete Monsters just because we watch a specific show. Hateful, hurtful things were said in this thread, but let's forgive and forget and continue onwards with love and tolerance . I keep meaning to ask, what's with the references to "Americentricism"? I don't understand how one image of Washington would make that the case... guessing it's the trope itself. Just curious.
Because it assumes the Americans are "the good guys" (which would also imply England as "the bad guys"). I think it's a wee bit sensitive, but there you are.

Nah, I'd rather keep the picture all together with a witty caption under it. Better visual cue that they go together as captions don't need to have anything to do with image.

Calling the crowner as current image is way ahead and it's the first image not to get yelled at in the thread so I think it's the closest we're going to get to happy on this one.
