Actually, Recursion was also a Wikipedia joke back before they lost their sense of humor.
As for Communitied Out, I don't think it needs examples. It's sort of a Just for Fun / Useful Notes piece relating to a medium.

Get a slant at this glossary of Pulp Detective terms. It rates. Pipe that? Then why YMMV it even if it doesn't need examples?
Imho,
(1) this should have examples if they're from a work, just not from real life. I'm sure there's some webcomics that have this happening to their characters.
(2) I don't see any reason for this to be YMMV. Person is dropping out of community X because he is spending all his time on communities Y and Z, that's objective.
(3) it's not Just for Fun either; this is an observation on real-life behavior, whereas Just for Fun is a bunch of silly jokes.
(4) and finally, this is Older than You Think in that it's not just an internet pattern (although it is more common there). If you drop out of acting class because you're spending all your time at study group and soccer practice, then you're also communitied out.
No reason to cut this, really.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
Wasn't this thread supposed to be about Communitied Out?
