Of the three deaths this weekend, this one touched me the most. Havel was a great visionary, and a man of peace. And he is most likely the one most quickly forgotten.

Vaclev Havel died today
. He was the President of Czechoslovakia from 1989 to 1992, and President of the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2003.
He was also a writer.
Havel played an important role in ending the cold war relatively bloodlessly. And he died on the same day as Kim Jong-Il.
