I don't like the first, but the second is good.

I'm not convinced Gauntlet is an example of zerg rushing. For starters, it has no resources: any monster is infinitely generated for free. For another, ghosts aren't particularly weak monsters in that game.

I strongly prefer the Starcraft image posted earlier. So what if they look like hydralisks? Hydralisks are zerg.

I strongly prefer the Starcraft one. The Gauntlet ones are also accurate for this trope, but it's a little harder to tell what's going on in those images.

I still maintain that the current Starcraft suggestion needs a better background.

Figurines are the best pic suggested by far.

... I didn't even realize those were figurines at first. Very nice.

I prefer the in-game screenshot because it shows the actual rushing better.

Fair enough. Are we about ready for a crowner?

Alright, it's time to move on this. I've put a request in the "locked pages" thread in FAQ to do something with the crowner winners, in case the current pic is kept on the page.

It looks like the main page pic's going to be hanging around, at least as far as I can tell. The Tyranid and Hydralisk pics have been put on the Tabletop Game and Video Game subpages; I'll ask about the main page pic before I lock this up.

I thought 2:1 was the needed ratio? That's what we have for the Hydralisks right now. If the crowner hadn't been closed before I checked this thread I also would have voted for the Hydralisk image.

This is something that probably should've been mentioned already, but per a command decision from Eddie, if a trope has medium-specific subpages, pics should ideally go on the subpages and the main page be without a pic. Eddie stated it here and again here (see the previous few posts on that one). When I started keeping up with this thread, I didn't pay attention to it having subpages. Thus, the two top pics on the crowner were used on their relative subpages. We just need to find out if Eddie likes the main pic enough to make it a "keep by admin request" or yank it.

[up] Thanks for letting us know. Looks like we can close this up. I'll make a thread about doing this for other pages.
