Well, if she can't cast a Dragon Slave of course she can't cast a Giga Slave. Even Lina can no longer cast Giga Slave. ;p

I thought she could still use it but never does because it could nuke all of existence.

Okay. I have no problem with any of those. I basically called it a Lava Ball because that's what it looks like. It's actual composition I leave up to you. And yeah, even as I was writing it, liquid nitrogen seemed a little extreme although he uses it more often for B&E purposes than combat. Course he will use it for that in a pinch.

Sorry, but I feel that I have to back out of this RP. I'm currently in three already, and I had to cut this one, seeing as I never actually began in it and I couldn't find the interest to post.

The funny thing is if this was taking place in a more modern setting, noticing someone in public having only half of a conversation wouldn't be at all odd. I'd assume the case wouldn't be the same here, unless there's some kind of magical two-way communications device that's as ubiquitous as the cell phone.

You know...the more I write for Bat, the more questionable it becomes about how he escaped his current master...he's just so clumsy...

Don't worry, Kurt doesn't have any ulterior motives here. I mean, I'd say he looks down somewhat on most examples of lip sync performance, but it's still a musical skill, which he enjoys for its own sake.

Oh I don't think the character's malicious, I just think that Bat has a tendency to screw up!

I just meant that he's probably not even going to ask for any money since this is about music to him. The only ulterior motive he might have is that it's a pretty young woman who needs help, and even then he won't make that a huge deal.

I feel like it would almost make more sense for Kurt to have some kind of recorded demo to give away, but I'm not sure such a thing would exist given the setting. Is there a magical equivalent to a CD or something that he could be carrying around?

If there isn't there should be, if only because the idea of magical C Ds launched by medieval pop artists seem hilarious to me as a concept.

Of course, my character would probably only sell his at his own performances and that one independent shop near the mage's college...

Excuse my asking, but is there something I'm doing wrong here? I feel like I'm not getting as much character interaction as I'd like despite making an effort to get involved. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I should just throw out my current character and start again with something more in line with what everyone else has.

No...it's just you haven't hit the juicy bit and the characters Kurt interacts with are for whatever reason, unable to react to Kurt directly.

When Bat isn't afraid to talk to Kurt, believe me he will talk to Kurt...and Diane...well she's just stuck in limbo...
