Fair warning, in January and February my work gets seriously busy so while I'll still be playing it will be sporadically.

Trump delenda estSorry Taco, no pain telegraph here.
Understood!

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Hmm, I wonder if I should bring my character into the tavern or the marketplace right now. Looks like there's action in both places, and it'd make sense for him to be at either of them. If he's performing at the tavern though, I wouldn't want to shoehorn him in with a performance introduction without approval for me to interrupt the scene. Or perhaps he'd have been playing the whole time and is about to take a break.
...Actually nevermind.

You wouldn't be "interrupting the scene" because "the scene" belongs as much to you as to anyone else.
Trump delenda estEh, I figured it out. Just hadn't had time to fully catch up on everything that had happened until just this morning.
Okay, question. As a collector of information and rumors, would it be plausible for my character to happen to know anything at all about Wagner's father? I kind of doubt what he would know would be particularly useful or even reliable, but at least it would give him a reason to interact with other characters instead of just standing around watching.
Lakan's just been involved in the prep work for the big party, so I'm likewise having trouble trying to find another plot hook.
Interesting bit with the Doge though.
Something tells me Kurt's ability to recall any third-hand rumors about dragon knights is about to become moot really fast...
So, uh, anyone know where Nick is? Don't see being able to actually progress this scene much more without him.
Kind of assumed the sudden appearance of the dragon knight would move things forward.
Seeing Starbound's character entry makes me ask, should I give a list of Chandri's spells and their effects or keep it more or less open as to what he can do?

Trump delenda estHmmmm for low level and utility stuff you can leave it mostly open. If you want something very useful or powerful you should probably make note of it.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. How about I give a list of Most Likely To Be Used Spells, keep it openended and promise to consult with you if I want to use more?
Trump delenda estThat would be great.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. The Doge is a rather hilarious and amazing fellow. I think he and Lakan would get along well.
Why thank you very much! Ahhh my ego, I feel it rising! I must say that the Doge is a very fun guy to RP as. May he and Lakan meet someday for a very fun day.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Okay here's what I've come up with:
Fade: A type of invisibility. It doesn't make him completely invisible, more like camouflage. Unless you're looking directly at him you are very unlikely to see him and if he's not moving you have to be actively looking forhim as well. The only one he's actually used so far.
Mist: What it says on the tin. He can create a thick concealing mist about the size of a large tavern room.
Lava Ball: A variation on the fireball spell. It's only about the size of a softball but has two advantages: First it doesn't dissipate when it hits but, depending on the solidity of what it hits (human body yes, solid stone wall, no, armor or thick wood yes but will dissipate afterwards) will go through it's target and on to the next. Second, it can be steered so if you duck or run it will go after you.
Force Cage: Will create a solid, three dimensional cube of pale force about 9x9x9 feet at it's maximum size (although he can create smaller versions). Can be seen through but fuzzily (think frosted glass). Can either be used to contain others or to protect himself. Cannot be penetrated or destroyed by non-magical means.
Frost Hands: Creates pale blue glowing "gloves" around his hands that are as cold as liquid nitrogen with appropriate effects
Staff: Can summon an oaken staff from Hammerspace. Is to all effects a normal weapon except it can't be broken by normal means (spells or magical weapons yes) and can effect creatures not affected by normal weapons. If it is destroyed he can resummon it but only after about four hours.

Trump delenda estHeh, I'm starting to wonder if my character is a bit underpowered compared to everyone else's. Maybe he'll end up being the resident Badass Normal or something.
Heh, can we start making Spoony Bard jokes now?
Trump delenda estHehe, I was wondering how long it would be before someone inevitably brought that up.
...I really should figure out a way to get more directly involved in the scene soon. I don't think any of the other characters even know that Kurt exists yet.

Hmm alright lets see.
Lava ball: Sounds like a semi ethereal magic missile with fire properties. It is not made out of lava, correct?
Force Cage: I would say that it should be able to be broken by extraordinary strength even if the strength isn't magical in nature.
Frost Hands: Hmmm liquid nitrogen might be a bit too much... very cold and saps heat and strength should be fine.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Hmm. Ama's magic is based on spells from Slayers. No Dragon Slave, of course...
I would say that a couple of the other high end spells should also be out of reach.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.GIGA SLAVE
...no? Oh, fine...
Hey, daltar, just idle questioning: Could one feasibly create a spell that allows instantaneous long-range sharing of pain between victims?
