it's like trying to control a unicycle with your kidneys
And then there was silenceSonic Colors, Generations, Lost World.
They are litterally that without the bullshit.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850what duff said is pretty much the gist of it
like not even joking that is the gist of it
ask me about it again tomorrow and i will provide a better summary but for now i'm about to pass out
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIAww.
At least there's Unleashed, then.
You know, once you put yourself through the agony of beating the whole thing you can just go back and play all the day stages in order without any of the cutscenes or night stages getting in the way. It's just like playing an actual fun Sonic game.
Colours is also great. Haven't played the other two.

the game is also inconsistent as hella
it takes place in arabian nights and there's a pirate level and a dinosaur level
oh and get a load of the FUCKING missions
And then there was silence>missions
Oh nooooooo
Sonic and the Black Knight was also fun, I don't care what anyone says.

have one where if you die once you get booted to the menu
followed by bullshit jumps, fake paths, pits everywhere, impeccable timing, and three rings
or one where you have to finish with no rings
with a maze of rings at the end with no way to lose them, forcing you to be precise and perfect
with the controls
And then there was silenceI say that you are wrong and that it was a clunky abhorrent mess.
Fight me.
oh Sega you're so silly.

oh yeah and my favorite thing in video games
all but like nine cutscenes are in comic form
And then there was silenceShould I consider a good thing I only played one sonic game in my life?
Also hello my fellow night owls.
LOVE IS STORED IN THE AXOLOTL!No because a lot of them are still great even though a lot of them are also awful.
And Adventure 2 was awful in big chunks of it but nobody cares because it was saved from the shitty game pile by dint of sheer camp value.

fun fact monster hunter and metal gear are both one in the same
there's a dlc pack where you fight a rathalos in peace walker
And then there was silenceAdventure 2 is a game from my early childhood that I remember fondly.
I haven't played it since so I don't actually know where the shitty parts are.
The only one I played was Shadow the hedgehog a couple times with a friend.
LOVE IS STORED IN THE AXOLOTL!Everything to do with Knuckles and Rouge. Sweet fucking Christ that shit might have actually been worse than the fishing bullshit in Adventure 1. Tails and Eggman's stages were playable at least, and Sonic's and Shadow's stages ranged from okay to pretty great.
As much as I hate to agree with Egoraptor because he says stupid shit a lot of the time, Sonic Adventure 2 really does control pretty badly, especially when you go from playing something as buttery smooth as Colours or Unleashednote to Adventure 2, where Sonic will just stop dead mid-sprint if you so much as look at him funny and rail-grinding is a wobbly slow physics-less mess.
But god damn WHO THE FUCK CARES YEAH GOTTA GO FAST
ROLLIN AROUND AT THE SPEED OF SOUND
GOT PLACES TO GO GOTTA FOLLOW MY RAINBOW
Hahahahahahahahahaha sucks to be you.

I was too young to care.
I may not have cared about the controls much back then either but the "Find the Things" stages were always awful in my book, what with the constant beeping and the unhelpful hints and the camera making it hard to see and the constant beeping and the unhelpful hints and also Omochao and the constant beeping and the constant beeping and the constant beeping and oh did I mention it was timed?
But again, once you beat the game you can just go play Sonic and Shadow's stages and ignore everything else and pretend the whole game was just that.
Does anyone remember how cool Radical Highway looked after being confined to GBA handhelds and Genesis stuff and the 2D platformers?
I just wonder how the hell anyone is able to do all that stuff so fast in sonic games without screwing up.

LOVE IS STORED IN THE AXOLOTL!You git gud.
All this really is is a matter of checking the road to make sure you don't crash into anything. Like driving.
god damn I love Chun-Nan.
Tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and play me some Unleashed.

Ah yes because it is so easy not to hit things when you go so fast that the background gets blurry.
LOVE IS STORED IN THE AXOLOTL!It's not really that hard, honestly.
Eh, can't quite do racing games, mostly because I have problems timing the turns or movements
Also, no consoles
всегда веренHoly shit this fucker just threw his ass off the road and made it work.
And the stage still only gave him a B.
Sonic Adventure 2 doesn't fuck around.

Complete shit.
