They look rather Nightgownish.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
I'm sorry to say but judging from the next episode preview it's real
Isn't it a bit early to be getting upgrades? From my experience so far those don't usually crop up until the late 30s in terms of episode count. Pity that though those designs are horrible the hair and bow on the chest in particular.
Indeed it is. I guess next week is still technically a Reika episode? I don't know...
What should we do regarding spoilers? Can we unspoil stuff 1 or 2 posts after the subs come out?
GLUB!5 posts is how it's usually done.
Watch SymphogearWe're a pretty small thread group though so I'd doubt we'd need that many.
GLUB!The upgrades look... odd (I like Miyuki and Yayoi's though)... Plus this is way too early to be getting them anyways...
Maybe they'll be getting more than one this year?
Infinity...Doremi subs are out!
GLUB!Finally. And goddamn is the DX3 movie taking a long time to get.

DX 3 awesome action.... needs more characterization and plot.
At least the non-Red Oni (leads) and non-Blue Oni (The lead's partners) characters got some fun (best part of that movie)
So I was going to add more to Pretty Cure's Monster of the Week entry and realized I was pretty much writing a character entry.
Mind if I add these to the character pages?
Zakenna
Formless beings from the Dusk Zone they have no actual physical form, they can easily shapeshift and take control of ordinary objects and rarely humans.- Monster of the Week:
- Verbal Tic: "Zakenna!"
- Purple Is the New Black: in their un-shapeshifted form they are purple beings of darkness
Uzaina
Like Zakenna they are ghost like beings that possess objects or humans.- Monster of the Week
- Verbal Tic: "Uzaina"
- Elemental Powers: each villain summons these of their elemental motif.
Kowaina
The monsters serving the nightmares in Yes Pretty Cure 5 unlike previous monsters they can change form and expand from their possessed object. Each monster will have the mask used to create it visible and will shatter when beaten- Monster of the Week
- Verbal Tic: "Kowaina"
- Mask of Power: a mask planted on an object is what causes the possesion.
- Incredibly Lame Pun: Kowaina is a pun off "kowai na" (怖い) "frightening"
Hoshina
The monsters of Yes Pretty Cure 5 Go Go replacing Kowaina the monsters are created via balls and not a mask this time, each monster has the same ball with creepy eyes theme somewhere on their body.- Verbal Tic: Hoshina!
- Monster of the Week
Nakewameke/Nakisakebe/Sorewatase/Hohoemina
The monsters of Fresh Precure unlike the earlier monsters these are not limited to just their name as the only word. each monster will have the diamond object used to create it somewhere on their body.Voiced by Nakano Shintarou
- Monster of the Week:
- Verbal Tic: Their name but not limited to that.
Desertrian
The monsters of Heartcatch Precure, unlike all the other series these are created by fusing a person's heartflower (equivelent of a soul) to an object usually heavily related to the person in question. unlike previous series they lament over their current issue in life before they became a monster and can actually be talked down at times.- Monster of the Week
- Verbal Tic: averted for the first time
Will do suite and Smile's later.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Might want to edit the Verbal Tic section for Heartcatch as they do have one it's just not the only thing they say.

They dont actually have one... the only thing they get is the wawawa thing when purified.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Don't they usually go "kawi ne" or something like that at least once per battle? I think that would qualify for a Verbal Tic and if not the "uwawawa" thing should fit too.

Are we going to do one for Akanbe too? It's pretty good though, I don't see any problems but then again I'm not an expert.
GLUB!"kawi ne"? where? Heartcatch is the only series that doesn't have that.
When I get time yeah, Negatone and Akanbe.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Go check one of the battle scenes? I'm pretty sure they say that or something similar.
And it is Akanbe not Akambe.

Ep 11 of smile:
I liked this episode. Enough said. Epic beatdown too
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...I was watching Splash Star and I noticed that Ms. Shitataare is rather hypocritical about nicknames, or at least an irony about her and nicknames. She has a running gag mentioned on this wiki where Saki calls her "Hanamizu Taare" which means "Snotty-taare" and she gets upset and corrects Saki over it. However, there's also a running gag of her calling Gohyaan "Goh-chan" which he reacts in a similar way to.
Watched all the All Stars movies I was able to find. Might go back and watch Futari Wa after I finish Suite and catch up with PCSS's subs of Yes!.
I'm thinking about picking up Splash Star during or after me watching Heart Catch. What's your opinion on it?
I like it, but it's not one of my favorites. I personally prefer the stories that have more than just 2 Cures, but that's simply my opinion because of my love for the Loads And Loads Of Characters trope. I do think it's interesting the way Saki and Mai end up having two different Cure forms each. Also, each of the villains has a different elemental magic theme, which is rather unique for Pretty Cure and for magical girl stories in general (usually elemental magic is something that the heroes have and the villains just have generic "darkness" but in Splash Star, both the heroines and their enemies use elemental magic). While I prefer Honoka to Mai, I prefer Saki to Nagisa and I think that Flappy is a lot less annoying and demanding than Mepple.

Raso....Hohoemina is a spoiler, y'know. Hide it before it's too late!
Also, anyone have funny fanarts about Westar and Soular become Cures, or something that requires them to crossdress? I need some laughs now.
Fine then! I'll let someone else have the three hundreth post! I was not totally waiting for someone else to post to get three hundred
Anyways the Suite Precure movie was released by Doremi.
GLUB!When does that movie take place in reference to the rest of the series?
Those upgrades still look horrible and I sincerely hope they turn out to be fake.
