The Dreamstone

Welp, this is an unexpected but welcome surprise.

Zodrak was such an odd but cool designed character, especially for this show

If anyone's interested, I finished the rest of the recap.

By the way, what does everyone think of the RPG?

And I've been wondering - I know Urpgor pretty much hates the other Urpneys, but do you think there's anything he'd draw the line at? Like, I dunno, maybe like if Zordrak ordered Blob to kill one of his own men? Or if Zordrak tried to murder a baby Urpney, or something like that?

I think he's sort of kept in the cartoonish side of jerkassery only. Like he's a Comedic Sociopath about other Urpneys like Blob getting punished or even executed but they keep him in sort of Love to Hate territory (plus as episodes go on, they at least add Sympathetic P.O.V. to why he's such a vindictive weasel to everyone else). I think the one and only Pet the Dog moment he got throughout the show however was towards his niece.

I think this is why "Urpgor's Great Adventure" was one of my favourite episodes, since Urpgor's the fine balance of being pitiful but still a total Jerkass, so someone who worked a lot better pit against the heroes than Blob's utterly wrathless troops. He's sort of like the Yosemite Sam to Frizz and Nug's Elmer Fudd, the meaner but still comedic villain that you're meant to pity but not too much that you hate the heroes for punishing him.

Maybe he is like Sam where draws the line against a baby though.

So Urpgor's the Yosamite Sam to the other Urpneys Elmer Fudd?

Would that make Zordrak either Marvin the Martian or the Tasmanian Devil?

And now I'm glad that there ARE no baby Urpneys in Viltheed, because Zordrak probably wouldn't be any more lenient towards them than he is towards the other Urpneys.

If they made a Dreamstone movie!

I mean, I know there's talk on both the Dreamstone wiki and the main Dreamstone page of one, and that this is supposedly the transcript for it:

But unless Word of God says otherwise, I refuse to believe that it's the script for an official movie, as opposed to a fanwork.

Nah, the wiki is a mess right now because of this guy that spams his fan fiction crap all over it. I think it's the same guy that got banned once, got me to message his apology to the mod, and then just did the same crap again.

I don't really get the appeal. I mean even if he just wanted attention points, he can find a better place to lie his ass off for it than the Dreamstone Wiki. It's barely even active.

Well, I'll give him credit - it IS a pretty good script.

What would YOU like to see in a Dreamstone movie? Personally, I'd like to see Zordrak defeated and the Urpneys freed once and for all.
