Per an earlier thread, I was going to move the pic of Jesus holding the lamb from Sacrificial Lamb to Jesus, only to find that there was already a pic there. I created an Image Links page and put the pic there, but I'm wondering if maybe we should flip the pics, as the current one is a little too...eh, not sure, it just doesn't click with me. Alternatively, we could find a completely different pic. Thoughts?

Eh, the current one is fine.

It was just added yesterday, it seems. That said, I prefer the Image Links pic.

I think both images are good, but I think one with the lamb would be a better choice for the better choice for the page.

Actually, I personally prefer the current picture myself. The one with the lamb is a bit stereotypical imo, and people may have preconceived notions that could be triggered by that lamb picture.

[up]"people may have preconceived notions that could be triggered by that lamb picture." Explain.

Get a slant at this glossary of Pulp Detective terms. It rates. Pipe that?

The Other Wiki has an entire article on this subject. A few suggestions: This could work well. This is what they use on Jesus' main article. The Divine Mercy image is a more recent depiction that could work well.

Just skimming that article I don't find anything about said preconceived notions Jesus holding a lamb could cause, but I'm against the stained glass since that wouldn't look near as good as the others at wikisize.

^I didn't post that article in response to the lamb thing. I was just offering suggestions.

I'm pretty curious about these triggers as well.

The lamb picture features him more prominently than the current, so I vote switch.

Oh wait, did I put that pic up while there was a discussion for a new one? I honestly don't remember when I put this one up so I apologize if I messed up any plans or anything.

I think the Jesus one is just clearer. He's front and centre. It just looks nicer.

That said... raptor. NB: Not a serious suggestion.

Time to call this one. The pics are swapped and the page is tagged; locking up.
