Watching the trailer, I saw several challenge maps that, the last time I checked, weren't part of the Wii version. Maybe I should run it again, though, might have those things now. If not, I'm getting this. Also, from the bullet list on the Steam page: "4 unique endings". What I remember is leaving the island, normal ending (island crash), and secret ending (beating Ballos). Have I forgotten, or is there something new?

That's definately good news for the game, means that it's reputation can spread further, especially given how people tend to go purchase crazy on indie games whenever the mid-week specials come around.

Doesn't seem to be so. I got stuck at a "The End?" screen, waited 10 minutes, nothing happened. I think it might be for beating Easy mode or backing out of Hard Mode during difficulty select or something? Since, when you switch to Hard mode, "Cancel" becomes "I'm too scared".
Speaking of which, you only get 3 health in the entire Hard run, right?
EDIT:Weird, looks like you were right about the "Coward" achievement. Might be bugged, since I doubt no one still hasn't chosen the option.

well i have finally joined the fans of Cave story...i only just got to egg corridor and i'm already having a ton of fun...i have stuff to do however so i'm not able to play long
