I get the "dodged" part in both, it's a lot easier to see the "nice" one on the pulled image(which was pulled without the 24 hours wait like it's supposed to).

Yeah, at the very least we should have waited for a larger number of votes if we aren't going to wait out the 24 hours* . Still, the pulled picture just doesn't work because it doesn't show the "dogged" part of the trope at all.
I'm still not sold on the Spike/Rarity picture, as it lacks the "nice" attribute, and I'm not sure if it really works without context; there's no reason why he's in the garbage or whatever.

I at least do get the dodged part in the pulled image, since the guy is looking gleefuly at the girl and she is just looking the other way. It could be way better and showing that part and it doesn't really show the nice one either, but it's better than the suggestion and it was Keep Until Better Image Suggested worthy.
