Wasn't there already a re-imagining of Phantasy Star 1, 2, and 4 for the Playstation 2 that never left Japan?
They never made it to IV. :(

Unfortunately, they're still pumping out Otaku-catering Shining games with a new one due out soon, so I sincerely doubt it's that.

Now that people have been bringing it up, the Shining series is something I'd like to see reimagined as well, as well as Space Channel 5 (which I thought no-one besides myself would've liked reimagined until I saw Slow Teddy's post).
