Surprising no one, ~80% similar with Obama. 'Course, since all the rest of the candidates are Republicans I disagree with them on most of the "big ones"*

anyway.

It tells me I'm equally likely to vote for Bachmann, Romney or Santorum. I don't think it's calibrated very well - and in Romney's case, they neglected to incorporate a sincerity factor.

In the unlikely event that I'm ever a politician, hell yes I'm taking that Vote Smart quiz.

Well I got...

  • 78% Obama
  • 50% Jon Huntsman
  • 40% Gary Johnson

I don't even know the two other than Obama. :P

It was rather republican (but no name guys) until I got to healthcare, guns and foreign affairs.

Apparently Obama matches me 87%, while the closest Republican candidate is Huntsman with 44%. No real surprise there.

91% agreed with Obama. Only thing I disagree with him is I have a hardline on illgeal immigration.

Hmm. Cain and Gingrich are tied at 79% for me, but Gingrich is tagged as the best match. Bachman, Perry, Romney, and Santorum are next, tied at 75%, Paul (who I think is a fruit, personally) at 71%, Roemer and Johnson (who?) at 65%, Huntsman at 54%, and Obama waaay back at 29% (yes, black guy is at the back of the bus tongue ).

Can't say I'm all that terribly surprised, really.

I am curious, though, if that "lacks courage" thing from not taking their political courage test is from actively refusing to answer it, or just that they have other priorities.

61 percent with Obama(who I voted for in the last election)

Everyone else was hovering around with Bachmann at 42 and the second closest at 58.

There's no place in America for a pro-choice, pro-gun, pro-gay, anti-illegal immigration dude who doesn't believe he will have social security by the time he's 60.. tongue

  • Jon Huntsman: 75
  • Buddy Roemer: 66
  • A ton of people including Obama: 60
  • Everyone else: 50's... including, surprisingly, Bachman and the like

The moral of the story: either this website is pro-Jon-Huntsman, it is just plain screwed up, or maybe Jon Huntsman is the one who should really be the GOP nominee... and Obama seems to represent the whole "left" mainstream in this poll.

Well it's not biased toward Jon Huntsman. I checked him out, his policies are actually just normal sane republican stances versus all the loud-mouths we're listening to on the media these days.
