Both of those seem to be more about the title than the trope, which is about someone who forces you to see/accept your inner darkness or some other aspect you really don't want to confront. I actually like the current pic...the arm touching the mirror being in color and the reflection being in solid black gives a definite "seeing your dark side" feeling to it.

I would agree, but the hand being orange seems to indicate that the reflection isn't the devil inside the person, but rather that the person actually is the devil.
Where you're seeing orange, I'm seeing flesh tone.
Is the pic a Deviant Art work? If so, it might be best to look there and see if the artist talks about it to any degree.

I love the current image, but it doesn't really convey the trope at all. It's just a first person image of the devil looking in a mirror. Other than the presence of the devil, it doesn't really have any connection to the trope.
