Eh, I highly doubt orgies are as frequent as Tom would like to believe. I've had sex with my boyfriend with other people in the room having sex also, and joining in never seemed like an organic next step.

^^ I know that most teens have done it a few times before they turn 18. Orgies rarely if ever happen. (I personally have never known anyone who has been to one but I've heard from folks in college. I'm a very good listener.)

I was vaguely part of the "nerdy" crowd at my high school, but I had an "in" via several friends that could pass for normal. To be concise, it's complicated: Polymorphous perversity and chaste obliviousness are about equally common, but neither is endemic by any means.

I know one girl who has had a threesome, and at least twenty who I know for a fact have not, even when opportunity arose. It happens, but rarely enough for this scenario to raise some eyebrows. I'd also imagine that, if you had never had heterosexual intercourse prior, there is a very high probability that you would pussy out of it at the last second because you are, after all, not attracted to men that way.

Only in moderate amounts. At absurd (read: typical teenage binge drinking) levels it starts getting rid of inhibitions entirely.
