It was in the Indie Royale Bundle. It doesn't work so great on my Laptop but it's good.

I and some Steam friends have this, and it's pretty good, although it's also very intense.

Just picked it up on the tail end of the weekend after putzing about a bit. It's fun! Hoping maybe we can get in some troper games.

I got it with indie bundle on Steam winter sales...it's fun...although I don't really like them selling maps and weapons...
What about if we organize a troper game? (although I think that my ping would go sky high)

There's a cool game that is out on steam, it's called Sanctum, it can be resumed as fps-tower defense game. As of this post, I've played only 1 hour, but I'll go ahead and give you my impression.
You can play as a group of up to four online (or alone) and you must place blocks to stop the horde's progress, this is straightfoward, like any tower defense, but what is interesting is that you're actually in there, fighting back the invaders too in first person along your turret. This mean your weaponry too can be upgraded. At the beginning of each game, you can choose your load out and hop in the action.
I've played with a couple of friends, and I had lot of fun, I've seen two maps and both were very well made, overall the gameplay was fluid. Playing a tower defense game is surprisingly fun with friends, as long as you cooperate. If you're like me and you like making friends while fending off waves after waves of monsters, that game's for you.
Watch for yourself.
I think you should check it out, especially since it's free for the week end, beside, it would be very cool if tropers could get together and try it.
