[up] Ana's always deadpan so I figure it's actually hard to read her. Akito's dense too, so yeah.

Someone should make a youtube video comprised solely of Akiko making weird noises.

I have to say: This is the NAUGHTIEST opening I've ever seen.

Seriously. I've seen hentai less suggestive than this.

Incidentally this is why you shouldn't watch Hadena subs with this show.

Have to give the writer props for admitting they weren't perfect translators, but then they also admitted they liked to troll in the same paragraph.

Okay, they're speedsubs and watchable. Just be on the lookout for more trolling.

... Watchable?

That's the last word I would use to describe them.

Episode 4.

Gin looked just like Youmu when she dressed up. The bow is neater, and naturally more modern clothes, but... And she's good at taking care of slobs.

Funny how Ana slipped on the banana peel again. Karma. Also, she shows her great skills at trolling, which extends only as far as her embarrassment.

Have we seen Arashi's yellow eye before? I can't recall it. And she's also a good troll. Good thing someone knows when not to walk into a room full of not so clad girls. The right thing to do, which no one ever thinkgs of: Open the door slightly, and just reach in your hand. That's all you need.

Okay, this guy is at least kinda smart. I just wish he was at least a bit more self aware.

I really can't tell how much that guy can tell what everyone else is thinking though. I mean, I guess you don't friendzone someone without knowing what they might be thinking...

Bleh. A Furo scene.

And after we just subverted a Does This Remind You of Anything? oppourtunity too.

This show is so kinky it's oddly fascinating.

Ana really does have the best dynamic with... well, everyone.

I find it hilarious that all the girls have the hots for Ginbei.

[up] Not so! They proposed to solve their other one problem by having Nikaidou seduce Akiko!

But then, she's more an Anything That Moves kind of girl.

Oh yeah, and attempted rape.

Episode 5.

It's hilarious how they all seem to seriously think Akiko is ill. But I do wonder why one of them reacted as if she had just come up with what to call Akito.

She heard something breaking, but not him screaming? That doesn't seem to fit anything other than the plot.

[up]I'm not sure I'd go as far as call it that. We don't know how far she'd actually go, if given the opportunity. Sexual harassment aside, she just seemed to play with him, like she seems to take life in general.

I must say I actually liked that once she found out about his sister, she actually reacted to what he wrote. Over the top, as usual, yes, but it's nothing to ignore.

And once again, Ana doesn't disappoint in what names she pick.

I use Doki.

Episode 5:

  • They're so mean to imouto.
  • Akito's editor confronts the issue with Akito's subject material... and hilarity ensues. Seriously, though, Akito is really suspicious.
  • Meh segment with the Prez.
  • Ana still rules.

Episode 6. I think there was an announcement there some of them may have a little bit of trouble with...

I do wonder what Kaoruko's conclusion is. It's not like Akito's sending very clear signals. And his teasing of Akiko is rather funny.

Otherwise, too long fantasy segments.

At least Akiko is honest. I mean, I can't figure out whether Akito really is a siscon deep down, but on the surface he really does appear to be an ordinary guy. Who has to put up with excessive sexual harassment on all fronts yet somehow has the skill to harmlessly deflect it all.

The one who's fantasising about the scenario the most seems to be... Kaoruko, the editor. I think that probably says more about the way she thinks (especially as she appears to actually be a fan of the novel).

Umm... But as for that new character, I can honestly say that I was not expecting that (it seems rather mean-spirited for her to be the one to do all the menial work though). I really have no idea what will happen next, but at the very least it involves a certain amount of jealously. That should be funny.

[up]I think it would only really be mean if it was about stuff she either can't handle on her own, or really doesn't like. She's too young to force work on like that, but also intelligent and academically accomplished enough to be allowed to make the choice on her own. I'll hold off my judgement till we know, but I'm guessing she'll be all too happy to help her fiancé out. If they're actually engaged, that is. There are many ways for that to end up.

I know, it's actually surprisingly ironic.

And after she went on and on about how Brocon was her thing and hers alone too.

Actually it's kind of sad that she missed her brother all that time, meanwhile he had another sister to keep him company.

Maybe it's kind of puzzling too. Why does he value one sister over the other?

[up] Akiko is his blood sister, plus Arisa sees herself as Akito's fiance rather than his little sister, Akito might think that way too. In any case, this development is sure to give us delicious green jelly.

Episode 7. How do you knock yourself down with a shuttlecock?Answer  Even being hit with the edge of a badminton racket doesn't hurt all that much.

Akiko's self-destruction is funny. No one ruins her own chances as well as herself. Well, aside from "Isn't loving your brother bad?" which was hilariously effective, as if she'd never thought it before. Sometimes, she seems to make fun out of herself for her obsession, like with her less-than-relevant comments taking "facts" from several years ago.

Another amusing part of it is that Akito is rather well-versed in seeing through her charade, and gives her comfort only when she's not actually faking her distress. It makes me like him a lot more than many other harem leads. He was also rather smooth in avoiding the "pick one" question. And in usual order, let them both down.

I do like the insight that she realised that Akiko was the only one to treat her as an equal. Well, Ana aside, who treated her as something completely different, and should probably be locked up in the same cell as Akiko.
