I don't want to say outright that it's unpicturable, but I'm not sure if any image purporting to portray postmodernisim is capable of making sense.
Yeah, "meh" is a generous verdict here. Let's go for something more self-referential. If we do find one, we can replace.
Suggestions:
And if we stick with breaking the fourth wall-esque imageries...
Or the standard fare:
Maybe someone who knows more about the issue can correct me if some of those don't count but that's my take.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I like either the window painting, or the pipe.
Reaction Image RepositoryI like both of those as well, and favor the pipe due to the French caption. After all, nobody is better at pretentious postmodern artistic works then the French.
I like the comic, but the pipe would be a second choice.
Window painting or pipe for me.
The pipe seems to be popular. Caption?
Or we can poll them. I'm favouring the comic myself.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Pipe? What pipe? I don't see any pipe. (But yeah, that one would be good.)
As for a caption? "This is not a caption. Oh, wait, no, it totally is, sorry."

A major trait of post-modernism is the inclusion of meta elements. As such, the current image is legit, but we could do better.
Go for the pipe.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyWill it not overlap with that other trope?
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. That's sort of a subtrope of Postmodernism, I think.
Reaction Image RepositoryIt is, but generally it's better to use a more general example. However, it can be as iconic, so I think I'm okay with it.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I like GG Crono's caption suggestion, but I'd just say "This isn't a caption, either."
I found a cartoon◊ that references the painting and keeps going a little.
EDIT: Never mind, that's already on The Treachery of Images page, in which case we can go with the actual painting.

Good enough. The pipe pic is up, potholed to Renee Magritte, and tagged, and I put up a variant on the suggested caption. Locking up.
EDIT: Made the Image Links page from the rest of the pics.

Maybe the picture is trying to be meta by how little sense it makes in the context of Postmodernism, but the My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic picture doesn't exactly tell me much about what Postmodernism is. It doesn't get me an "a-ha!" feeling the way the Silver Age picture does, where it helps me understand where I've seen this era before. It's...*odd*, yes, but only because I can't figure out what it has to do with anything. Not because it's odd in a Postmodernism sense. Because it's somehow outside the fourth wall?
