Stupid to be sure, but there is merit in the idea of limiting, to a point, the effect entertainment has on your society.

It seems like the Communist Party is trying to wrestle back control by cutting etertaining programming in order to bring in moral social order.I think they know that China is beginning to grow strong and will eventually get sick of them then get rid of them.So,I have a feeling that they want people to stop from becoming like the West.
